Maybe in the game, but if the Zone actually existed Snorks and Bloodsuckers would easily get to the same positions as you. Rats are easy to deal with even a pistol. Shoot a few, sprint, shoot a few, repeat.

Good luck actually seeing the Snork or Bloodsucker before they ambush you. Really, it wouldn't work like in the game.

One stupid thing I want fixed in Redux 1.00: Major Degtyarev should have a Sunrise Suit in the beginning, [B]not[/B] military armor. He's in the zone doing an[B] undercover[/B] job. That is like sending a cop undercover to a drugcartell and throw him off there in his patrol outfit.

The fact that kevlar vest isn't the best armor for the most Northern area of the Zone before you enter the CNPP and a lack of money in the beginning puts you down from the need to explore.

I also remember that in SoC planes were usually sent to try and bomb Red Forest, but they'd always crash due to the Brain Scorcher.
