I hate to ask, but would anyone be willing to spare a copy? I could possibly trade some TF2 items or something if you're into that sort of thing.
Dammit, it annoys me that half of my mercenaries ALWAYS go on away missions. Makes clearing 4 level outbreaks impossible.
Tip of the century: Clearing out a zone completely of zombies before nightfall makes you capture that territory. It then brings in +50 points every turn.
Fuck the demo was fun but as roughly everyone has said before, I'm not throwing $15 at it.
Honestly, the demo was quite fun. Although the price is a bit heavy. Still it's great fun. The surfer music is awesome.
I'm not getting why everyone's saying it's 15$. It's on sale for 10% off, and it's normally priced at 10$ to begin with. It's only 9 dollars, I might get it myself since I really enjoyed the demo and like Blendo games.
The description made me think it was some incredibly badass tactical game with similar gameplay to XCOM UFO Defense. I was sorely disappointed when I watched the video :(
You should check out Trapped Dead if you want something a bit like that
There is so much tactics and strategy to this game. If you don't believe me clearly you never tried to clear out a level 4 infestation without infantry, snipers or artillery. Mines, Explosives and Zed Bait. Only the city itself can stop the hordes (by that I mean the gas-line buildings which are awesome).
Oh god the game is SOOOO addicting :D
this game is SO worth the money, though. I've already spent so many hours playing it
Do I suck so bad, but my first campaign was a disaster. I didn't stand a chance when the level 3 outbreaks began. The game is quite hard. My new playthrough is a bit better. I even occupied 2 sections.
I tried the demo, and I'm getting 1 frame per second. I tried all the fixes but it won't work. Help please.
Check on the official forums on their website.
This game amuses me. First thing I do is play the demo, immediately buy the game. Three hours later I realize it's 3 am and I should've been asleep since I've been under the weather of late. I digress. I start a game on the longest setting. God damn. It was a long fun haul. I failed a couple of levels but nothing was too challenging. I start up on hardcore with zombies spawning anywhere. JESUS FUCK 100000000 TIMES HARDER.
I've been playing the shit out of the demo. A lot of fun.
I'm working on my metropolis mod. It's pretty intense
My metropolis mod has been released and updated. Cityscapes are now generated properly. Game times increased too since the increased population means you really start on the back foot as far as points are concerned. Check it out and give me some ideas you'd like to see :)
Gah, I've posted on the official forums and have tried all the fixes but I can't find a solution. Anyone else find this game impossible to get working correctly despite the fixes?
I wish gravity bone was longer :c same with flotilla
I tried the demo, and I'm getting 1 frame per second. I tried all the fixes but it won't work. I felt stupid trying it, but it worked. o_O
I am not sure as to whether I should get this game. Is the full game more tactical than the demo?
Well time to buy a 360 controller.
Lol I wouldn't go through that much trouble. I just assumed it somehow had something to do with my input drivers. I usually have it plugged in and I played before with no issue, then magically earlier today it wouldn't work, that seemed to fix it for the better. But the developer is definitely still actively looking into it over at the forums.
I am not sure as to whether I should get this game. Is the full game more tactical than the demo?
It depends on many things. There's lots of settings you can change. You can even mod your own more tactical version of the game very easily. So I'd say yes, especially the order that you recruit more mercs.
- Blagh, just some random rant about zombie games these days. -
That post is entirely unrelated to this game :\ More FP should play this game.
Hah, yeah, probably was. Still, this game looks pretty fun. I may get it when it hits another discount.
Keep your eye out. I'm sure someone will either necro this thread or post a new thread when there's a sweet sale involving this game.
The away on mission is sometimes utterly bullshit. I understand that it is meant to make the game harder and involve some more tactics, but sometimes it's utterly frustrating. Making the game nearly impossible. Nevertheless it gives the game the feeling to truly fight a Zombie outbreak.
