Just got this for Dishonored and Far Cry 3. Both look great with it, but I'm not nearly getting results like those shown in pictures. Could someone share some presets? Both are on max settings, by the way.
Cool idea, but stuff like this results in oversaturated screenshots 99% of the time.
Here's some random shots with it Far cry 3 Orgasm
Can you post your FC3 preset? I found this website which has presets for a lot of games, but not sure if yours is on there. Link
Bit of a noob question, but is it recommended to crank every setting on the SMAA to max, or should I be sticking to the default values?
This really works wonders in emulators.

It looks incredible.
[t]http://u.cubeupload.com/TheJoker/am0H64.png[/t] Gave Persona 4 a shot while using this. Had to use the latest svn to make it actually work. I really didn't do anything besides smaa and vibrance but even then I didn't tweak vibrance all that much. I really don't know why that big black square is there. GS settings were DX11 (Hardware), 4x Native (any higher and PCSX2 would throw a bitch fit), 16x msaa.

(might be the cause for the square)
Tonemap : Adjust gamma, exposure, saturation, bleach and defog. (may cause clipping)
Nope. Was visible even without SweetFX. Went away when I un-paused it. Here's more screenshots http://gyoru.minus.com/mblG1rJNJ4b4vn Not mine. Just found them via Google.
I would love to try this with bf3, but I'm getting a getdeviceremovedreason error for the first time out of no where :v: Is there any way to cancel out an effect in a game? Like the always on bloom in cs:go [editline]6th January 2013[/editline] aaaaand the game runs without sweetfx on, am I doing it right? I just put the files from KyleN's download here right?
Just put the sweetfx files where the game .exe is. Some games have exceptions, which are listed in the SweetFX folder. You can customize sweet from using SMAA only, to all the bells and whistles. e: So this thread, is it for tweaking and presets? I'm hoping pictures will still largely get posted to the General Ingame Media thread.
Hey I found this OpenGL to DirectX emulator that enables sweetfx/enb for *opengl games http://code.google.com/p/qindie-gl/downloads/list Games and Engines Supported Quake 2 (OpenGL mode) Half-Life (OpenGL mode) Xash Quake 3 Serious Sam: First Encounter* Serious Sam: Second Encounter* (OpenGL mode) Doom 3** GLQuake*** Extrasensoric Tux Racer Return to Castle Wolfenstein Unreal Tournament (OpenGL mode)**** Doom2 (Doomsday) Kingpin and probably even more... * - does not support light duffusion effects since wrapper can't read depth buffer. ** - only 2D works properly - menu, PDA, etc. Other is playable but glitchy. *** - Z-trick must be disabled (type gl_ztrick "0" in the console). **** - Z-trick must be disabled (open "OpenGlDrv.ini" and set value of "UseZTrick" to 0).
Don't forget the configuration tool. http://sweetfx.thelazy.net/?p=91

Anyone know why this is causing my games to crash on startup?
I've been trying to fix this for 3 hours... Whatever setting I put the splitscreen on 1 or 0, there's still a splitscreen. And it says you should press ScrollLock to get rid of the second screen. But the only problem is that the only screen that is left when doing so is the screen that the effects did not change for. I'm not using Dual-Screen, I'm not using any AA/etc for the game. What the fuck is this?
So what does this actually do other than force AA and oversaturate everything?
So what does this actually do other than force AA and oversaturate everything?
Maybe you should take the time to actually configure it properly for the game you want to use it in instead of complaining about the default preset oversaturating everything? Just an idea...

I want your settings D:
I want your settings D:
That isn't actually my screenshot, I'm using the similar settings but it's from this guy jim2point0. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jim2point0/sets/72157631732109336/ That;s his dishonored flickr album, settings over on the left. He's using SGSSAA which is really fucking hardware intensive, but you can get nearly identical results with normal supersampling.
How does supersampling effect video recording? If I supersample down to 1080p will my videos turn out 1080p or at the resolution I'm "forcing" the game to run at?
