Why does everyone love CS? - Games

I think CSS and CS are both fun if your playing zombie mods or dodge ball mod.

There are more mods than that.

I don't really like to play an online FPS when the only factor in winning is having a better gun and shooting the other guy before he shoots you. That's why I like TF2. There are so many different ways to play, you can't win just by being a better shot than the other people, and sometimes you can outsmart enemies by attacking from a specific place they wouldn't expect.

I like it, great for LAN.

I like CSS because it has incredibly awesome mods but it's an all around just a fun game in my opinion.

I like CS:S because of its professional profile it has made all over the world. Yeah.

I still play and enjoy 1.6. I've played CS since I was a kid, back when it came on a CD and worked with WON. Maybe it's for the nostalgia, who knows. 1.6 is morbidly harder than CS:S is, though, so its harder to pick up for new players. I can understand why new comers would not like 1.6, its something you had to grow up with to like. My brothers and I would stay up till the late hours of the evening, just playing 1.6. It was awesome. I really dislike people that prefer CS:S over 1.6 due to the upgraded graphics. fucking load up 1.6 and do a tactical shield rush on de_rats and tell me that isn't fun.

I don't hate it, it is just not my kind of game. Plus, what other games can you snipe with a shotgun?

Actually, Counter Strike's shotgun is just about the most inaccurate shotgun in any game.

I still play it cause i've always been playing cs since 1.3 to 1.5 , 1.6, then source.. i ocassionaly go to some gamenets with some friends and dominate the place.. and it's lots of fun.. css/1.6 is one of those games where it really separates the beginners from the ppl who've been playing a long time.. a lot of games you can just pickup and rush, and become the top on the leaderboard, in a pro heavy server (cod4).. And also, normally you won't have fun if you're not doing good.. it's one of those games where you need to get kills to feel the thrill of the challenge.. and admit it.. being called a hacker is the most flattering thing you've ever heard online :3:

I tried to play it again recently, and i sucked ass :v:

I havent played the original CS I play CS:S and it's great :) Valve said about making a CSS2 but not sure if it's ever going to happen :/

It's not the greatest of games, it's not the worst.

Because you can hacks servers and annoy stupid 12 year olds.

It's cool , realistic and quite fun , if your on the right gameplay. But i agree it can be quite shitty and repetive on maps like , dust_2 and office etc.

I love CS 1.6, but not CSS.

I like it because it gets my heart beating, my palms sweaty, and it's just like BOOM HEADSHOT. Don't you love that feeling when you get a Headshot?
