The thing I don't like about CSS is the fact that you can pump a guy full with bullets and he'll just turn around and headshot you. And I also hate those lucky shots, for example: Someone with a Deagle far, far away randomly shooting towards, and hit you..in the head.
I agree with CSS probably being the game with most hackers and underaged people. Aka 12 and younger.

I love sniping people with the pump shotty. :3:
LOL 119+ rating lol i agree too... it has really lame graphics i dont like it and i think everyone plays css cuz they are kids that plays flash games and they never seen games like crysis ...
at the end of the day it completely relies on whether you know what you're talking about or not
tip: if you don't play it competitively, you don't know what you're talking about.
What I don't get is why you guys are arguing about something that has no definitive extremes. I can understand if you like your opinion and don't want it threatened, but people who have opinions that aren't your opinion don't pose a threat to your opinion unless the people are stating their opinions as definitive facts, in which case the only two counterarguments you can make are either that your opinion is superior and correct, whereas theirs, being on the other side of the relationship, is inferior and incorrect (which is bull, because subjective matters are null hypotheses and therefore have no truth values), or this particular argument that their statement is flawed in that it presents an opinion as a fact. All you're really doing here is sitting on opposite sides of a hill, looking outward in the same direction, and arguing whether it's to the left or the right. You're both right, you're both oppressive, and you're both missing something about the oppression you present, and both those somethings make both the oppressions completely invalid. So please just shut up. The more you argue, the more ignorant people who don't understand this principle will be hurt, you know. And the more you'll be hurt when you find an argument that you see as better than your own. Just be quiet and nobody will get hurt. And if you want the people who don't agree with you to be hurt, then I'll leave it up to your opinion to determine whether that's childish, but if you share the common root opinions of most of the human race, your opinion will probably be that it is. You don't want to be childish, do you? I'm not saying that not sharing the common root opinions of most of the human race is a bad thing. I'm just assuming that you do indeed share the common root opinions of most of the human race because chance dictates that you are probably a part of most of the human race as defined by those common root opinions.
Would you mind summarizing that? I didn't read it.
but the community does suck, most of them are either little kids, or elitist assholes.
or fucking n00bs who just hack and can't play for shit. they are the most annoying.
Suddenly this thread is a about CS1.6 vs CS:S? No. Just GTFO if you are going to continue.
http://halflife2.filefront.com/file/AD_CSS_Weapon_Balance_Mod;95822
And with a few more adjustments, I've noticed that I start using the MP5/Famas more than the M4A1 (on LAN).

And you sir, are a prime example of why the community sucks. If the player isn't good, teach them, don't go flaunting your CS:S based e-peen around.

Yes, I prefer the MP 5 as well.
The MP5 offers fairly good accuracy and very little recoil. Underrated weapon.
Cool, all the smileys transformed into Agrees.
1. It's not a different game retard (may as well be), it was supposed to be a better looking 1.6.
2. Grenades are not realistic, not in 1.6 and not in Source. They should at least be the same.
3. Not even an argument.
4. The gameplay is challenging? In Source? Ha, no.
5. How is money managing a shit idea? It's what the whole fucking game is based around!
6. The spread is not slightly different, it's completely different, and so is the recoil.
7. Have you even played 1.6? It invented the penetration system. Hurr.
8. Not even an argument.
It's not supposed to be a different game, but it may as well be.
[editline]06:00PM[/editline]
Oh and I will play CS, thank you.
If you have to buy it separately, and its on a different engine, with different content then I believe that makes it a different game. If I am wrong might as well say Half Life 2 sucks because it is based off of Half Life 1 with better graphics.

I'd pick TMP over MP5 anyday.
I'd pick TMP over MP5 anyday.
The TMP is the silenced machine pistol, right? There's hardly any difference between them.
Everyone's hacking and makes you rage
Valve didn't try to put a spin on it in any way, like introducing miniguns or a levelling system, basically leaving the community to create what they wanted
The TMP is the silenced machine pistol, right? There's hardly any difference between them.
Yeah, I believe TMP stands for The Machine Pistol or something. :v:
The TMP is the silenced machine pistol, right? There's hardly any difference between them.
yes there is, there's a massive difference
try the ridiculous ROF on the tmp, and if you know how to aim, it's more effective
even though mp5 is more accurate over long distances
Thread derailed. STOP IT!
its because of 2 reasons:
A) You don't have friends to play with.
B) You play shitty servers.
C) Combination of above.
STeel - Where did I say that noone should like it. I just wanted to get an explanation. Not a CS fan explaining me that it's my fault.
You didn't say no one should like it, you said:
Sorry, but it doesn't make ANY sense.

Sorry, but it doesn't make ANY sense. The game is boring, repetitive, simple, repetitive, no team play, shitty graphics, shitty sounds, shitty gameplay and it's repetitive too. So... What's the big deal?
Oh yeah, rate me "frowny faces" all you want, I really don't give a crap.
All online games are this, and most singler player games end up like this by the end. The big deal is that apparently a fucking lot of people don't give a shit about this. What's the big deal with achievement/trophy whores?
I like CSS once in a while. It's fun in small bursts but I can't really see myself playing it for more than a couple of hours a week...
It's not simple all the time. Theres other players that have a different level of gameplay strategy.
Thats what adds up to Counter-Strike Players. More Challenge, More fun...etc.
And i totally agree with you that the community is full of morons, This guy kicked me for no reason..

Because one guy represents the entire community.

Sorry, but I don't know what ROF is. Could you explain, please?
Rate of Fire, in other words it shoot really fast.
Ah, ok. I know what Rate of Fire is, just never seen is summed up like that.
