C: you could sniper people out of helicopters in BC1

wat
did you even play BC1
wat

Um yes I did, and you can snipe people out of the cockpit of helicopters.
Um yes I did, and you can snipe people out of the cockpit of helicopters.
are you talking about glitching into the helicopter or what
because as far as I know the only way to get into a helicopter is to actually enter it as a vehicle
What the hell are you talking about?
What the hell are you talking about?
what the hell are YOU talking about?
Aw hell no! Sniping still takes 2 fucking body shots to kill? Fuck this.
what the hell are YOU talking about?
I'm talking about being a sniper on the ground, looking up at the sky, and shooting a pilot out of a helicopter.

He meants you can shoot a guy piloting a helicopter.
MY AUTOMERGE

Have a heart.
3:12 "let the bodies hit the floor"

I thought of SOAD at that bit.
I thought of SOAD at that bit.
:sigh:
Is it just me or did sniping seem very easy?
The weapons sound so powerful. I'm getting this game for sure.
Wait what, wtf are these triangles. They look like damn wallhack, making enemy easy to spot.
Wait what, wtf are these triangles. They look like damn wallhack, making enemy easy to spot.
They only show up once you, or somebody on your team spots them. That way you can get assist points for spotting somebody for someone on your team. Marking them on your teams minimap for a short period of time.
It's just like BF2's system only made automatic. You could aim at an enemy and say "Enemy infantry spotted" and it gets marked on the map. The reasons it's been automized is probably due to the fact that they needed to streamline the voice commands for the consoles.
I'm just gonna say this is going to suck balls on pub servers and end up like bf2.
Is it just me or did sniping seem very easy?
He obviously never shows how many times he died and misses.
This video makes me think that BC2 is going to be just an everyone goes sniper game, just like 1942.
It's fine on the consoles because obviously it's harder to snipe and adjust for bullet drop against long-distance targets with a controller. I am worried about the PC version though. Hopefully they have learnt their lessons though from previous games - maybe because the maps are much more centred around objectives and have a lot of urban, CQC fighting it will turn out okay.

Left 4 Dead sucks on pub servers too, that doesn't mean the game is bad. I'm mainly going to stick with my friends in squads. Just like in Left 4 Dead, playing with friends is much better and BC2 encourages squad play so it will be a blast.
Weird, I don't remember triangles in PS3 beta, it also took 2 shots to get a kill.
I believe that is the spotters scope, it allows you to automatically add enemies to your Team radar and makes them easier to see. You have to have around 145k in Recon points to use it, so basically, you need to be a no-lifer to earn it during the beta.
Aw hell no! Sniping still takes 2 fucking body shots to kill? Fuck this.
At extreme range it will take two body shots yes, sometimes it can take one, but it largely depends where on the body you hit and if the target has the armour perk on. Though at short to long ranges it can usually kill people in one hit, it depends on your rifle really.
Sniping looks easy as fuck..
Without that crappy desaturated dust shader, you might notice how low-poly and poorly-mapped everything is.
Without that crappy desaturated dust shader, you might notice how low-poly and poorly-mapped everything is.
It's probably due to low console power, so they can still render the big open environments.
It's probably due to low console power, so they can still render the big open environments.
Consoles aren't that weak, god damn you lot can be so biased. The shader is probably to make it look more like the location it is set, and to make things like textures look correct, if I remember seeing the models without the shader applied, it looked a bit crappy (there isn't much detail in the skins, and the models aren't as smooth as they look with the shader).
Rendering a wide open map and these models is literally nothing if the engine is coded correctly, if it isn't then the game would run like shit, which it doesn't.
