Yeah, you use the graphics editor on their website and then you can import them to the game. To use the graphic you choose custom shirt, add your graphic, then you can adjust it to your liking.

Sports games are usually console games though, so I don't they're willing to justify bringing the game to a "new market" without proper history of sales figures, because it's a pretty big risk.

EA doesn't want pirating. They already have codes for console to activate sharing because people even pirate games for Xbox.

Nothing like Tony Hawk, controls-wise. Skate uses the right analog stick to perform fliptricks, you use shoulder buttons for grabs and the other buttons to push/brake/get off the board. I prefer this to Tony Hawk easily, because "jump of this ramp and get a 50 trick combo" gets old eventually. I only like TH for nostalgia value nowadays.
Also different combinations of controls make sense, like angling the board backwards then grabbing frontside for a tailgrab, then pressing x for right foot and doing a benihanna.
