i know i'm a bit late but i just finished deus ex: human revolution
i thought it was an amazing game, even if the ending left me a bit unsatisfied. [sp]i chose to destroy panchea, but the end cinematic did give me really good feelings[/sp]
I'm a bit sad I didn't get "What a shame." and "A bomb!" in my first walkthrough. [sp]Yes, that means Jock died. And it pisses me off because I knew the mechanic was fishy but didn't know what to do about him.[/sp]
Same, I levelled up Demolitions thinking that'd let me find the damn thing. Nope. RIP.
Gunther's in that room. Remember that a headshot's a lethal takedown.
assassinate a man and get somebody killed. I'll load you up.

All of the ending videos give a good feeling, really.
You might not be able to tell, but this is the point where I decided to fuck stealth and start carrying a hacked turret around.

Just finished the game, that was amazing
Didn't get the Deus ex Machine achievement for watching all the endings though
[sp]Last battle was quite meh though. Took me 15 seconds to disable the life support and then I just had to wait for Zhao to die. Were there any other ways to finish the game? Also do the endings depend on your playstyle (pacifist/murderer)? That may be the reason I didn't get the achievement[/sp]
-edit-
Nevermind, [sp] There is also Taggarts ending. Forgot about that idiot[/sp]

[sp]You have to fight the final boss one way or another, but if you don't get the passcode from Darrow then you have to hack the three terminals and kill each individual part of the life support the hard way. Or you take that near-useless Laser Cannon from good few hours back and penetrate Zhao's shield with it without having to even disable life support.[/sp] Also, some dialogue changes in the ending depending on your number of kills, but being a pacifist influences different achievements.
I did the Dark Age because Tong was the only trustworthy person to listen to.
I didn't do Dark Age because ultimately it wouldn't change anything just like Illuminati.
Don't know if this has been posted, but a fairly long article about how the Human Revolution intro cinematic was made.

some pretty interesting stuff there, did you know that parts of the intro were CG and some parts were live action ?

Cloak or neural interface is pretty much down to preference. The attack drone is nonleathal, but strength enhancement is good for just clobbering everyone with the baton. Thermal masking, run silent and vision are what I usually go for in non-kill everything playthroughs.

Neato, thanks.
Is that a mag rail in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

Interesting to learn that they used live action in the trailer. I noticed that operation had some convincing zooms, now I know why.
So I got deus ex IW
Installed it
And found out that it doesnt work on computers with realtek sounds drivers, what the hell

I have this problem

While replaying DE:HR I need to comment on the small heads issue. I think only Adam really suffers from it but only because his coat gives him huge shoulders. Without it he again looks pretty normal.

Bulky shoulders and quite a bulky collar is what does it I think.
So that's what Adam's butt looks like
Can't say that I asked for that knowledge, but now my life seems a little bit more complete
Still waiting for a mod or trainer that lets me use weapons in Sarif Industries.

Same here on the first playthrought, I was cocksure that there was something I could do, went back and forth to the office and back to the helipad, spamming dialogue with other characters.
What a shame
Bumping this because deus ex human revolution is on sale at amazon for just 6.99 USD (augmented edition 7.99 USD)
