how do i get the 10000 credits i bought? from that one addon
It gives them when you start the mission at the manufacturing plant, a pop up and you get the rifle and the shotgun as well.
oh well shit im near the end now
Sarif what are you doing
Thought I'd replay Deus Ex 1 on hard. But as I started playing. I noticed the it took the enemies like 6 hits with the pistol to kill me. Which isn't very hard tbh. I remember reading something about a difficulty bug or something. But because of HR. I can't find anything related to classic on Google anymore. :/ Does anyone remember anything about this issue or is that just how hard is?
Won Deus Ex Collection on Steamgifts. Already had Deus Ex HR and the two release DLCs but didn't have missing links or neither of the two original games.
I'm getting the itch to reinstall and try to beat the first Deus Ex game. How long is the whole game? Last time I played I got up to the part where [sp]I found some laser sword thing and was helping some Tong guy.[/sp] Steam says I've played it for 17 hours so that had to be near the end of the game right?
Hong Kong is nowhere near the end of the game.
Holy shit so I just really took my time then.
Holy shit so I just really took my time then.
No it's just that old games actually had more than 2 hours of gameplay in them
Just got this game today, and something kind of puzzled me from the start. How does this game run so perfectly? I have to play it on a shittop and it runs beautifully, no lag or anything.
I was looking for the "catch" as to why the graphics are so pretty yet I get a decent FPS. :v: The first few minutes I just walked around looking at all the lab stuff, so detailed
So I finally got around to replaying this game. Taking my time and really seeing how much this game does the original justice and I see this: I'm probably late, but it made me chuckle
I hadn't noticed that. That is brilliant.
Currently I have a sort of "cowboy" playstyle: revolver, only headshots. But I guess I miss the whole stealth aspect of the game if I play like that? Maybe I should mix both styles a bit more. There's just so many ways to handle a situation... I also only just started the game so I barely have any upgrades that help with stealth.

So I found the thought of Adam Jensen dancing in the middle of the street funny. So I did it. The motion capture fucked up the arms a bit at times but it was mostly fine And his coat clips through his legs but shhhh

How do I take Jaron Namir out with the upgraded biochip? Every video I look at I always see people that have their mines glitched or have their old biochip. The fight is frustrating as fuck and I need to get past it. I'm on give me a challenge difficulty.
I managed with a revolver, explosive rounds. I suggest trying to grab every bit of dakka you can around the arena, especially in the drawers, before devoting to shooting at him. It really is a bitch, though. Anyway. "Drag me like one of your Hengsha girls." Somehow this guy died like that at the end of the Omega Ranch for me, when the dropship came in.
i've played through the deus ex human revolution expansion-pack entitled the missing link. it was good. reminded me of how great of a game human revolution is. also, i liked this guy's design. Adam's apartment looks really nice. It's awesome that you can play this game as -heavy -ezzio auditore -hitman -gordon freeman -however the fuck you want
-removed original- KILLED THE FUCKER Brought the sentry down and let the sentry rip at him while I hid.
So when you play the game do you cheat with your savefiles or make any of your decisions final? When I play, I find a way I want to complete the level and reload my save until I have accomplished what I wanted

What I did was go into cover and then blindly shot every single bullet from every single of my guns. And then I had to throw 2 grenades at him... Yeah, you could say I hated that boss fight. When I play, I find a way I want to complete the level and reload my save until I have accomplished what I wanted
I don't do that. If I tryied a no kill or no alerts, then I would understand, but what I like about these kind of games, wether it's Metal Gear or Deus Ex, I like to live with my actions. If I alert a guard when trying to melee kill another, I screwed up. I need to do my best to make it so the consequences are as small has possible. Shoot and hide the body, run away, use the failed stealth kill has a trap, anything goes when you fucked up...
Sarif what are you doing
These people, they're like ghosts, always hiding in the shadows, always hiding behind dumpsters and alleys.
Apparently there's an issue with some video cards where when you start another playthrough, your FPS is shit compared to what you originally got. Sometimes the intro videos will playe at a REALLY slow framerate (like, 2 or 5). For me, at least, changing graphics settings did nothing to help. If anyone else gets this in the future, it's fixed by going to the start menu, in the search box at the bottom, typing "regedit" and pressing enter, then go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Eidos > Deus Ex: HR, then double-click the line D3D11_CREATE_DEVICE_PREVENT_INTERNAL_THREADING_OPTIMIZATIONS and then put "1" in the "value data" box. Then just click "okay" and exit, and it should be fixed.
