I want good ol' JC back, not Helios'd dumb philosopher from Invisible War. Which means.. DX1 remake! On new engine! I'm sure you want this.
I got Human Revolution recently and I must say I'm loving it! There are a few things I have trouble with, such as sneaking and the fact that I can't punch someone in the face unless my duracells are charged, but I deal I guess.

So, sorta like that. Yeah, not the same old JC, but in those CGI vids he looks badass.
I started playing this but then I got side tracked, I just kept killing cops and selling their guns. Steal all the things.
I... I... I thought that you were a GEP Gun...
http://eidosmontreal.tumblr.com/post/16181591183/do-you-guys-plan-on-using-adam-again-if-you-make Personally I don't see how this would work, especially if you chose the fourth ending.
Well, considering that none of the endings are completely canon with the original, they could just do the same again. Make the next game a mix of all the endings, and although I really do like Jenses as a character, I don't think it'd really fit with the mix of characters and settings the games have already provided. Not that I would be angry or anything, I'd be pleased to see another Deus Ex game. (I really hope there is another. Considering the quality of HR, I have hope in the abilities of Eidos M. Hell, with ending 4, they could indeed work Adam in to a sequel. Considering the length of Augmentations he can be put through, it wouldn't be impossible for him to survive. Oh and with you know who having his men scavenge for anything of interest. (The game hints at people having their memory wiped, and we all know what unraveled during Deus Ex. Adam may not be gone forever.) Fuck, HR has spoiled me. Maybe we'll see a sequel to the original Deus Ex in a few years time. A good one.
I'd like to see a Deus Ex game that explores the Northwest War and the Northwest Secessionist Forces.
While I really hope Adam can be the protagonist in DX4, I think the best course of action would be to introduce a new character to take the reigns, and maybe feature Adam as a mere cameo of some sort.
Well, considering that none of the endings are completely canon with the original, they could just do the same again.
I don't see how none of them are canon, anything could happen with any of the endings. Maybe the media influence fails?
I don't see how none of them are canon, anything could happen with any of the endings. Maybe the media influence fails?
I recall reading theories that each one is possible, so I'm betting it'll be a mix of all the endings.
I recall reading theories that each one is possible, so I'm betting it'll be a mix of all the endings.
Or they could make it ambiguous enough that any of the endings could fit. They don't HAVE to say "This is what actually happened", after all.
Kind of the problem with having different endings in a series of games, unless it's the last one in the timeline ofcourse, because in the end, the developers will have to choose one of them to be canonical, make a mix of all the endings, or make which ending you got have abselutely no impact on the plot what so ever. All of these three options suck in my opinion.

I mean, when you choose the super-xenophobic ending all the aliens hate your guts, but if you're a super bro-tier dude and you're cool with aliens then they treat you like Jesus.

The best bet for future DE games is for them to mix the endings as they did with HR. There's bits and pieces of the HR endings in the original DE storyline. [sp]The economy collapsing due to the death of half of the worlds population. The lack of augmentations in civilians due to either Darrow's warnings or heavy laws in place caused by Taggart etc[/sp]
what do you mean dx4, there have only been 2 dx game sup until now
DX, DXIW, DXHR. 2, you say? Too bad Invisible War was screwed so much that even some people don't know about it.
DX, DXIW, DXHR. 2, you say? Too bad Invisible War was screwed so much that even some people don't know about it.
Whats this DXIW you are talking about ? No such thing exists.
Whats this DXIW you are talking about ? No such thing exists.
This shit's seriously getting old now IW wasn't even that bad, it just had a huge amount to live up to
This joke is older than Illuminati.
Eh, I liked IW. Completed it a couple of times. Also, who would win in a fight. Adam Jensen or Alcatraz in the Nanosuit 2.0?
I recall reading theories that each one is possible, so I'm betting it'll be a mix of all the endings.
They'll probably do what IW did and make all the endings happen.
Eh, I liked IW. Completed it a couple of times. Also, who would win in a fight. Adam Jensen or Alcatraz in the Nanosuit 2.0?
Adam of course Alcatraz is basically a zombie kept alive by the suit, and the suit is terrible too (v 1.0 all the way) Adam had his augs disabled and managed to kill Namir, and when the army disabled the nanosuit Alcatraz couldn't even walk. Jensen can just throw an EMP grenade and the fight's over

Though yeah Adam could just like stab him in the face or snap his neck or something, though to be fair Crysis takes place a couple decades before Deus Ex and Alcatraz is technically a dead guy. Plus if it were Prophet that'd be a whole other story entirely.

Nanosuit 2.0 is EMP shielded to a degree. I'd say EMP grenades wouldn't cause anything else but glitching in the video feed or something. As for the time issue, Crysis 2 is set in 2023, only a couple of years before HR. Though they are set in different "universes" or something, so they aren't that easy to compare.
But Prophet has contamination and mutants in his brain
Well yeah, but that's at his worst. And even then he gets that gunship to fuck right off in Crysis 2's intro, after being shot by it a dozen times. Both Prophet and Psycho are great. But Psycho gets bonus points for sounding like Vinnie Jones I guess
But Prophet has contamination and mutants in his brain
You sure?
I...I.... It's beautiful.
Jesus fuck, that one guy is huge.
