I just finished the game, it's midnight and now I'm creeped out by the last cutscene (I get creeped out very easily)
Which ending did you go for?
The middle one. [editline]3rd July 2012[/editline] And no I didn't just click the most shiny button, I just don't wanna say what happens and spoil for someone

[sp]If you didn't chose Sarif's ending u r a feg[/sp]
[sp]If you didn't chose Sarif's ending u r a feg[/sp]
[sp] If you think any of the endings alter anything your vision isn't augmented [/sp]
[sp]A lot of people seem to think that destroying the Panchea was the best ending. I still don't understand why, it's stupid. I mean the LIVE broadcast from there got interrupted by "zombies' so if you destroy the station and no signal comes from there people will get even more scared, sending a message about what happened (true or not) is the sensible thing to do[/sp]
I finished the game for the first time the other day, [sp]Saved Malik, chose Darrows ending. Did most of the sidequests, didn't get the new Biochip, Spared Zeke and talked Isaias out of suicide.[/sp] Made pretty good choices overall, great game too.
Nevermind, misread

Just a heads up for anyone in the EU who has Playstation Plus, you can download Deus Ex HR for free as part of the PS+, and all the DLC is 50% off on the Playstation Store.
So far I think I'm the only person I know that chose [sp]Taggart's Ending[/sp]
So far I think I'm the only person I know that chose [sp]Taggart's Ending[/sp]
now why would you go and do a thing like that, [sp]it's like, you're lying AND you're working for the frumpy old bad guys, worst of both worlds[/sp]
Going to reinstall Human Revolution, I hope I will be able to finish it this time...
now why would you go and do a thing like that, [sp]it's like, you're lying AND you're working for the frumpy old bad guys, worst of both worlds[/sp]
old men WARNING! WARNING!
now why would you go and do a thing like that, [sp]it's like, you're lying AND you're working for the frumpy old bad guys, worst of both worlds[/sp]
I viewed it more as [sp]the best of both worlds, it's not the complete chaos and abuse of power that unregulated augmentation technology will bring and it's not completely getting rid of augmentation technology either. It's not an ideal result but its the one I deemed to be preferable.[/sp]
I viewed it more as [sp]the best of both worlds, it's not the complete chaos and abuse of power that unregulated augmentation technology will bring and it's not completely getting rid of augmentation technology either. It's not an ideal result but its the one I deemed to be preferable.[/sp]
[sp]Augs are only getting regulated because the Illuminati fear that they could tip the balance of power, with you helping Taggart get them regulated, you only helped an oppresive conspiracy stay in power. Good job![/sp]
I viewed it more as [sp]the best of both worlds, it's not the complete chaos and abuse of power that unregulated augmentation technology will bring and it's not completely getting rid of augmentation technology either. It's not an ideal result but its the one I deemed to be preferable.[/sp]
[sp]yeah, but now the Illuminati can control people's augmentations, and thus the people wearing them. what's the point in allowing humans the freedom to adapt and improve themselves if it means letting the Illuminati enslave them? that totally defeats the purpose of having the augmentations. people get augmented to do things they couldn't have done before. what you've done is place a limit on what they can do.[/sp]
I also believe that [sp]Destroy and Taggart's endings are basically the same. Adam gives a nice speech in the destroy one but we all know that with Sarif, Darrow and Adam dead Illuminati got rid of all their major enemies.[/sp]
Really all the endings end in the Illuminati's favour. If they didn't Deus Ex wouldn't have happened.
Really all the endings end in the Illuminati's favour. If they didn't Deus Ex wouldn't have happened.
I think bits of all the endings would have to happen for Deus Ex to be the same as what we saw
Really all the endings end in the Illuminati's favour. If they didn't Deus Ex wouldn't have happened.
Wait, Deus Ex happens after Human Revolution ? Now that changes everything.
Wait, Deus Ex happens after Human Revolution ? Now that changes everything.
DX:HR is set in 2027, DX is set in 2052.
Wait, Deus Ex happens after Human Revolution ? Now that changes everything.
[sp]It's heavily implied Adam's Genes and DNA were used to make JC and Paul. "JC" could easily stand for "Jensen Clone"[/sp]
[sp]It's heavily implied Adam's Genes and DNA were used to make JC and Paul. "JC" could easily stand for "Jensen Clone"[/sp]
It could also stand for Jesus Christ
[sp]It's heavily implied Adam's Genes and DNA were used to make JC and Paul. "JC" could easily stand for "Jensen Clone"[/sp]
[sp]Where is it implied ? I've not finished the original DE so that might be why I'm missing something. Also, does that mean the augmentations like the ones Adam Jensen uses are of the same type as Gunther's and Navarre's ? As in, mechanical augmentations ? The main innovation circa 2052 is nano-augmentation, right ?[/sp]

There's also hints that Megan's research used Adam's DNA and Bob Page was quite interested in him.[/sp]
[sp]Wait, so then does that means everyone is transgenic with Adam's genes, or is it just JC and Paul ?[/sp]
Just Paul, JC and the DX:IW nano-augmented folks.
