^ I still have... nightmares...
I don't know if this has been posted before, but I can't be bothered to go through 18 pages to find out. Does anyone feel like the final boss was ridiculously easy? I mean, all I did was run up to the Hyron Computer, and the turrets couldn't hit me. After staying underneath the turrets, I press the buttons, shotgun the slaves, and repeat a couple more times, while easily killing a couple of the insane guards along the way. Then I used a laser rifle to kill Zhao. Is this normal? I found the other bosses to be pretty challenging, but this one took 2 minutes at most. I feel like something was wrong because the climax of the game should be the hardest.

Tons of things were cut from the game and the boss fights prior to Hyron were all rushed.
It's funny because if you have the laser rifle the final boss is easy as shit because [sp] you can just shoot through the force field with it and kill her in like 10 seconds [/sp]
It's funny because if you have the laser rifle the final boss is easy as shit because [sp] you can just shoot through the force field with it and kill her in like 10 seconds [/sp]
Wow, once again DX continues to surprise me.
Just bought Human Revolution yesterday, playing it now. I just found out when Adam was born, too: 11 days before me, to the year. Wow, that is so weird.

[sp]Then, like Top Spin to Mega Man 3's final boss, it just destroys the difficulty of the final boss fight with a single aimed shot.[/sp] It's like 'crazy prepared' taken to the ultimate degree.

Just installed the first game for the first time. Any mods/fixes I should install?
Just installed the first game. Any mods/fixes I should install?
You should use New Vision. It generally makes all the maps' textures a lot prettier.

It fixes all of the nasty bugs without messing with the gameplay.

I completed Deus Ex Human Revolution. Dear God... That was the single best RPG game I have ever played, everything was amazing about it, the conversations, the characters and the storyline. I am truly shocked at how much I enjoyed the game and I even somehow ended up making this:
welp I just played through the entire game to get "Doctorate" and "Gun Nut" in one go got Gun Nut, but it turns out I forgot one e-book
Anyone know how to fix the bug that causes you to only be able to choose 59hz as refresh rate in options? In Deus ex hr that is.
Original from steam doesn't work with win7 or something. I can't save or load, shit just crashes randomly. Help?
Original from steam doesn't work with win7 or something. I can't save or load, shit just crashes randomly. Help?
You have discovered ultra hardcore mode, gotta play through the whole game in one go with no saves or loads while avoiding crashes and never dying.
You have discovered ultra hardcore mode, gotta play through the whole game in one go with no saves or loads while avoiding crashes and never dying.
I'm up to this challenge. This will be a really long three days spent playing Deus Ex though. So much to explore and re-explore from my nostalgia!
Sup guys. 2 week bump. Looks like I never asked for this hue hue hue.
I played the first Deus Ex game for the first time ever. This inventory tetris are annoying. I have to get rid of either the GEP gun (no way) or the laser cannon (that weapon kinda sucks anyways, too big and the ammo is rare). Do you need that laser nanotechnology sword for anything? I just threw the crap away cause I do not like melee weapons that kills. That sword take up to much place anyways.
Is the 3rd boss even possible to kill with the Bio-chip, I die before I can even see him.
Bumpity bump. So I've been playing HR and I just got up to the part where The Missing Link takes place, should I play TML now or after I finish the main game?
Bumpity bump. So I've been playing HR and I just got up to the part where The Missing Link takes place, should I play TML now or after I finish the main game?
After TML ends, it resumes the main game. In the regular game, iirc, it just shows Jensen [sp] getting in the box on the ship and hiding, then it cuts to the destination[/sp], and in TML it shows what happens while he's on the ship.
The helicopter exploded when I was playing Deus Ex. Sad story.
The helicopter exploded when I was playing Deus Ex. Sad story.
Same, I levelled demolitions thinking it'd help. It didn't.
