Okay, here's a question: I'm in The Hive right now (stole a membership card to get in), and I'm doing a stealth/hacking run with a little social thrown in. Anyways, the bartender upstairs won't give me the time of day, but the downstairs guy offered me the [sp]signal-hacking and money-collecting[/sp] quest. But [sp]I found a pocket secretary with a door access code to the basement[/sp] - does that mean I don't have to bother with the quest?
Is the Missing Link DLC worth the money would you say?
By the way, both the full game and the DLC are 66% off on Steam, so the Missing Link is only $5.09 - is it worth it?
Yes, it's definitely worth $5.
I can't imagine seeing his face having more polygons than in the original game.
I always found this guy to look like him. Wait for it.
I just beat the game and my god [sp] the after-credits "secret" was amazing. Nostalgia goggles on. Even the fucking music was the same, it was awesome. And judging by when Bob Page says "going through the wreckage" I assume that Jensen destroying Panchea is canon?[/sp]
Why is the Missing Link a separate game on Steam?

Technology continues uninterrupted, nano-augmentations are created and not questioned by enough people to be suppressed. Basically, Jensen never sent a message out and took the secrets with him.[/sp]
Holy shit, holy shit - I know it's been said but this game is fucking $10.19 right now on Steam. Buying now! I love you Steam <3

And when you do a pacifist run and vow not to take a single life... it's very hypocritical. [/sp]

That's what was applied to IW, anyways.[/sp]
[sp]I reckon, if they make a sequel, it'll use a mixture of all the endings. That's what was applied to IW, anyways.[/sp]
[sp]I dunno, the endings in this were one extreme to the other. Tell everybody everything, as Hugh wanted, tell everybody it was the purists, tell everybody it was rouge augmented (actually quite sensible in a way), or kill everyone and bury the evidence. Other than the last option, someone is getting the blame somewhere and it would shift how the world views augmentation. But then again, they did a decent job making the IW story contain elements of all the Deus Ex endings. I do wonder where a sequel will take place, there's not an incredible gap between this and the first.[/sp] [editline]23rd February 2012[/editline]
[sp] Also everyone else on the station. Could be anything but it is definitely a game since JF is there.
Has anyone ever wondered if Janice Reed is the love child of Bob Page and Megan Reed?
Has anyone ever wondered if Janice Reed is the love child of Bob Page and Megan Reed?
Wouldn't be surprised Megan is a massive sluz.
Why does it keep freezing on startup? I'm so fucking pissed. Nevermind, fixed now.
Who wants The Missing Link?
Think I'm going to buy the DLC when I get home. Been meaning to play this again and I didn't have the DLC the first time around.
Who wants The Missing Link?
I don't have it but I'm sure I'll buy it sometime so no thanks. :v:
I'm tempted to get the DLC, I just need to find a way to get money on my card on time. Worth a try I suppose. [editline]24th February 2012[/editline] What's the DLC like, any good?
Who wants The Missing Link?
If you're still offering, I'll take it
If you're still offering, I'll take it
I have added you. Please come online and message me so I can send the gift to you.
I have added you. Please come online and message me so I can send the gift to you.
Wow, thanks! I've added you back, and I'll be online for another 10-15 minutes before I have to go to class.
DrBob's awesome.

Is the missing link a separate game? The way it appears in the library makes it seem so.
