And they said that the pc was there main focus...
Developers who say that usually just want your money.
My new computer is gonna be able to run this. I'm contemplating pre-ordering it once I try the demo.
Well I'm getting it for console anyway cause most of my friends are getting it for that, but i'll most likely buy it for pc after as it's pretty cheap.
Not that I want to be a jerk, but you're so late to say this is beautiful. Oh, and a new official gameplay is here:
So we have on-the-fly weapon customization and on-the-fly ARMOR customization? This is just getting better and better! [editline]17th March 2011[/editline]
So, wait, they are releasing mod tools to customize your experience, but won't let us share our mods with other people? Crytek :psyduck:
You do realize Multiplayer is only half of the game experience, right?
Half like, timewise? Or what? Because I am pretty sure Crysis 2, if it is on par with every other shooter released in the past 10 years, will have about a 6-8 hour campaign. I dearly hope the multiplayer is more compelling than 8 hours.
So we have on-the-fly weapon customization and on-the-fly ARMOR customization? This is just getting better and better!
This has been known for awhile now.
This has been known for awhile now.
Not to me, boyo.
Been playing the multiplayer demo. I just finished some games where I completely dominated everyone. One particular match I had twenty-five kills and no deaths. My beloved Ceph gunship wasted nine players in that round. I haven't felt this god-like since Singularity. I'm so getting this.
I haven't had any 25-0 games but I have had plenty of games where I just dominate. My only deaths are to lucky SCAR sprays, snipers on that terrible Pier map, or invisible people meleeing me. It helps that no one on the PS3 knows how to armor up.

Cell/Crynet systems. The Aliens don't start attacking until a little while into the story. It starts with the military containing an infection.
I played the level that was in that video. :v: To upgrade your Armor you require a special currency you can gain from collecting Alien samples from dead aliens.
Cell/Crynet systems. The Aliens don't start attacking until a little while into the story. They must be doing something bad if we're trying to stop them.
The military is containing an infection, Cell/Crynet (I think Cell is the security force for Crynet?) is doing something nefarious we don't know about.
I'm debating whats worse. P2P or Rent-only dedicated servers. The rent only has actually hosting power and runs better than P2P on an astronomical scale. But P2P has the "server" files in the clients hands and has online modding potential. Sure MW2 did not see official modding, but there are some mods that get played in private matches, you just have to look harder. [editline]18th March 2011[/editline] 5 more days people. Thank god I am on a trip to America ATM. As long as the PC version does not have region lock shit like NTSC, I should be able to nab a copy and play earlier then most people in Europe by a few days.

No admins means you have to rely on the anti-cheat to do the banning and there is no way to get rid of griefers.
Not to mention the lobby bullshit, poor hosts, hosts that leave, fixed playlists, zero community, host-ping advantage, etc. MW2 also had these client-side hacks that could practically give them admin grade privileges. Rented servers by a mile.
It's not even a contest. I'd rather not have a single mod than have to deal with people with horrible connections running awful P2P lobbies and having 0 ping while everyone else can barely play. Not to mention "The host has disconnected"
Thinking about preordering on Amazon since I have gift cards for it. Has anyone preordered a game there before? Does it generally arrive release day?
Do you guys know if consoles get that cool feature where you can change your gun addons and ability's right from in game, just without the cursor? (The on fly fly customization as some one called it)
Yes.
Press Back on an Xbox 360 controller brings up the armor menu, and you switch between modules in each type (Armor, Stealth, Power, and one other which I forget) with A B X Y. Holding Back brings up the menu for your weapon, and A B X Y switches attachments or firing modes for whatever is marked. Because of this, I learned that pressing the number key that is above each part can switch between them quickly, and this was the case in Crysis 1, as well. That's a lot of flow breaking clicking that could have been avoided. :v:
Awesome, I should be picking my copy up after school on Tuesday. Can't wait.
Pre-ordered it from D2D. 28 £. Fucking cheap.
Pre-ordered it from D2D. 28 £. Fucking cheap.
Pre-ordered it from GAME. £24.99. Fucking cheap.

This is totally fine and you won't get banned for it as there's no way Valve can detect it.
Looks like some people in Sweden already got their pre-orders, guess what? No sandbox 3 editor. Although i'm not 100% sure. There's a thread on mycrysis.com
