:v: Same god damn pose. Identical even.
I sure hope physics are alot better in this game.
I just died from touching a jeep with its tires blown out that was sliding slowly across the floor, and I wasn't in front of it.
I died from multiple "nothing". Then I realized from a replaythrough that it was a rock slide (I think? I don't know if I was even under them)
I also got damage from going speed mode and hitting some metals on the ground. Looked like a frame from something...
Anyway, I really hope this game is alot more polished in these aspects.
I did encounter some physics bugs in Crysis but I never felt like they were really prominent game bugs, mainly because they never really disrupted my game very much, nor did they happen very often. The worst one was dying from a shack that fell down on top of me for no reason.

I really don't mind. They are both badass.

No... Why?

I collided with one in speed mode and if I remember it right, it killed me.
Alcatraz speak once in the whole game, probably because the suit [sp]locks him from doing so until the DNA scan/merge is completed.[/sp]
Hargreave is kinda like [sp]House from FNV[/sp]

Same with the new Tribes teasers. In fact, it's almost a replica of the Nanosuit trailer.

You must be blind or something. I've died multiple times from touching a piece of sheet metal from a blown up shack. Crysis 1's physics were fucked up.
My copy is in Reno, NV. Should get here tomorrow!

no they weren't
So I managed to get some money today, gonna get Crysis 2 tomorrow.
I asked my friends if they were going to get Crysis 2 and they said no. I feel bad for them, they are going to miss out on a good game.
Did crysis preload for anyone on steam? I'm waiting for it to happen.
Seeing as how they wouldn't let D2D have a preload and it comes out in 13 hours, I doubt it.
no they weren't
They were amazing and fucked up at the same time. See video below.
Wasn't there a sandbox editor kinda like Garry's Mod for the Cry engine?
You mean the tool they used to make the game?
edit:
I think Source and CryEngine 2 represent two different sides of the game physics spectrum. Source has really good and accurate physics on a small scale (like cups on tables, and crates and stuff). On the other hand CryEngine is awesome at more large-scale stuff like breakable huts, trees, and can handle thousands of objects falling or flying around.

I dunno, maybe. I just remember watching videos of people spawning shittons of barrels and making them go off and another video I saw was somebody spawning a blackhole and watching it suck up the shit on an island.

actually CryEngine is good at everything
you have to admit that Crysis 1's physics could've been better
as much as I like the game there were a few times in each playthrough where I would get killed because of its physics
but it was ok, since the game's save/load system was great
Can't wait to play this game, so excited.

Spoilers.
[sp]I accidentally read a comment on the MyCrysis forums that said they both died due to the symptoms from being in a symbiotic relationship with the Nanosuit. It is probably mentioned somewhere in the game, possibly in an audio log. I guess they got it worse than Prophet did.[/sp]

Richard Morgan is releasing a comic book that explains it.

Oh well, I just bought Monday Night Combat, plus Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood comes out tomorrow, so I've got stuff to hold me over.
Still sucks though.
Argh. I can't decide between this and AC: brotherhood.
In my own opinion, I would get this game first then Brotherhood.
Argh. I can't decide between this and AC: brotherhood.
This a million times, I was excited for Assassins Creed 2 but now they're just getting so boring for me they're hardly worth mentioning. Wasn't Brotherhood released already anyway? I recall my friend talking about how fun it was on the XBOX.
Released a couple months ago on console, just released on PC.

Yeah.. It's coming out for pc tommorow. Spose I could get crysis 2 and just save up for assassin's creed brotherhood, but there's no real chance that either will be what I want them to be, so that's the line I guess.
[editline]21st March 2011[/editline]
One reason I'm interested in AC Bro'hood, is for the multiplayer.. Seems kind of interesting and fun, but it would probably die out awhile after release.
But I also know ubisoft PC sucks in terms of servers and such, so there's even a chance the multiplayer will be a failure in terms of connectivity and such.
Just picked up my copy earlier.
My retailer gave me some freebies too, Razer Mantis Speed mat and EA Sports jersey.
