I know I shouldn't be judging a leak too heavily but from what I played of it I found it incredibly stripped down and pretty boring. Crysis degenerated into complete and utter shit when the aliens appeared, but I loved messing with the Koreans. The enemies in Crysis 2 were boring and hollow and it felt more like a generic shooter rather than a playground. The new aliens are a major step up though. Hopefully the full game will change my opinions.
I can't afford the game anymore but i must support Crytek. :smithicide:

About this one, you're using AVG. Never use AVG, norton or any other antivirus that has a simplified button interface since they tend to be ones that pull this bullshit.
Use Avast or Nod32.
Picked up my preorder today, and I have to say that the game's pretty fun. Nothing like powersliding cloaked under a semi-truck to blast an unsuspecting enemy with a shotgun. Actually, powersliding in general. Wheeeeeee

Hmm looked around on mycrysis, it appears in-game console commands were completely removed from the build. Autoexec stuff still works but the game simply doesn't recognize commands in-game anymore, making screenshot captures without FRAPS impossible.

Where is the autoexec file, anyways? Because I can't find it in the install folder. If it's hidden in one of the .pak files, I can't open/extract those, so if anyone could point me to a program that can (WinRAR and 7Zip won't open them), that'd be sweet.

I didn't notice this before, but holding shift steadies your aim with any gun, like Maximum Strength did in Crysis. Also, you can knife kill someone if you grab them and then hit your melee. (Just like in Crysis)

r_drawnearfov and cl_fov can be used ingame, one changes the hand/weapon fov and the latter changes the viewing field.

Before, the Crysis 2 mp demo on my pc worked fine the first minutes, then it started lagging after a while. Sometimes it shut down my pc and caused a lot of those "nvidia has crashed and recovered" errors.
It turned out it was just my GPU preventing itself from overheating (105 C) so I cleaned my pc and got a really good FPS.
Whatever you guys do, don't go on the MyCrysis forums.

I just put them into the command line, and it seems to work.
Make a shortcut of Crysis2.exe, and at the end of the "Target" box in the properties of the shortcut just add in the commands there, prefixing with a "+" sign. So for example "+g_skipintro=1" skips the intro videos
What is the graphic settings like in the full game? I remember being depressed over not being able to really customize the graphics to work on my machine. Whats full game like?
