But rendering the insides of every building is a waste of resources, especially if only a few of them are tactically viable in the level's context.
Every time i try to play online i have to enter the cd key, then it tells me my key is already online when i try to join a server.

I know this has prolly been asked...but I am just seeing in graphics settings "High, very high, and extreme" Surely there's a way to tweak graphics beyond THREE BASIC SETTINGS?! Or am I stupid and missing something?

unfortunately that's all you can do within the in-game options for now
you can tweak via console, or supposedly a patch will release that will enable advanced settings
It was probably easier for them to release it with these settings, hopefully they're working hard on that patch though.
Hopefully that patch will also fix the dev-console.

I can now say, What the fuck Crytek. If I didn't play Crysis 1, i'd view Crysis 2 as a console port to PC. Actually, I think it is a console port. No advanced settings, press start to continue, COD multiplayer, Linear-ated Campaign. The graphics haven't taken a huge leap. The game looks barely better on a PC compared to a 360. Even though PCs are 10x stronger than a console, the improvement I see is 1.05x from a console.

i can see a big difference in that video
everything becomes blurry as shit on xbox past 5 meters and the textures are low res, plus the shadows aren't nearly as good

This game runs perfectly on my machine. I only got 24 fps with everything maxed out on Crysis
Really REALLY getting aggrivated with the fact you can't save at all and the checkpoints seem to be extremely conservative.
Oh, so you got to the end of some massive open-ended area infested with enemies after playing through it for 30 minutes? Oh well since you are on the hardest difficulty we'll spawn enemies close to you causing you to restart the WHOLE FUCKING LEVEL after you die in two hits since we forgot to put in checkpoints.

Means you typed it in wrong, but it doesn't tell you that. Just reenter it
Entered in the serial AAAA-AAAA-AAAA-AAAA-AAAA and was able to join a server, but not the one that Steam gave me.

I've typed it in about a dozen times and every time I go to join a server, it gives me that message. I am not mistyping it.

I have to say, the PC version really feels like a last minute thing. I can't believe it went gold with 'Press START to begin' on the title screen.

Ranked servers are 6v6. Unranked go up to 8v8.

PFFT. There's 3: high, very high, and extreme. I don't know why they call it that.. and it's a darn good game. Who cares if there's no editor.. unless you buy the game for only the editor.

I hate the new 'tactical' option stuff. It confuses the hell out of me.

And anyone got that error of 'this serial is in use' or something like it when joining a server? I looked up stuff: run .exe as admin, etc.
But actually you enter your code in at the login screen BEFORE you login which is really weird..
Also, where do I enter my pre-order code for the exp boost and scar and what not? I did it on their site but I don't have anything in my store cart in-game.
