Aren't there three?
High, very high and extreme or something.

Woo, slowpunch.
this game was confusing as shit to play at first because it plays so differently from crysis
Who cares if there's no editor.. unless you buy the game for only the editor.
I had more fun with Sandbox than I did with Far Cry and more fun with Sandbox 2 than I did with Crysis
Just beat the game right now. And the ending is quite a refreshing change from most AAA titles these days. [sp]NO MASSIVE CLIFFHANGERS! YES![/sp] Not particularily a spoiler really, but you can never be too safe.
And if you're turned off by the "consolification" then you're truly missing out on one of the best games on the market. I personally regard this on the same level as HL2, TF2 and Portal from the quality of work and effort that they put in this game.
Best $60 on a video game that I ever spent.

Not sure how you can say that. The singleplayer story is all over the place (Disease, riots, military action, military corruption, aliens, etc), and it's full of holes considering this is supposed to be a sequel and not a new IP. Nothing from the first Crysis is ever explained, and our only direct link to the original story kills himself 30 seconds into the game.
The best we get is some of the original alien vessels hung up on a wall at the very end of the game. How they became this new threat with an entirely new appearance and completely different weaponry is never explained.

The devs of Crysis said that they were trying to get a newish story into the game since console players never got the chance to play the first one. At least that was the story way before the demo even came out.

Then, I ask you:
Why call it Crysis? Make a new game with cybernetic suits. Then you're not shitting on fans that liked the first game, and you have the option to go back and make more money later.

because nanosuit connects those two games, the core mechanics are still there
what you just said is comparable to asking why call it GTA IV when the only thing that stayed the same from GTA III is the setting

GTA is a style of game. They're open world games involving cars and crime at their base.
'It has nanosuits' is not a style of game, it's a feature.
Naturally, two games can have ability-boosting combat suits. Half-Life had the HEV suit.
On top of that, Crysis 1 and Crysis 2's suits are vastly different in functionality. They're hardly the same thing anymore.

Hell yeah.
Cryengine 3 is actually less intensive than its predecessor which really dissappoints me because when I looked at the ground I noticed it was less sexy than in Crysis 1.

All right, it seems all ranked servers are down..
Let's take this time to add all of each other =D

I would say the nanosuit is a style of a game
Crysis games are objective-based games in which the player use the nanosuit abilities to overcome opposition

ok, I see your edit and I understand your point

Oh where was that picture that showed all the mystery tags?
CE3 sanbox from the leak is so much fun to dick around with. I turned Times Square into a gigantic rave party.
*unce, unce, unce, unce, unce*
I like the multiplayer but what happens when you level up your power, stealth, or whatever they are called? Do you they increase your limits for your suit?

After he finds you, you go off on your adventure of [sp]building that anti-ceph virus and injecting it into those spore spreaders. You also find out that the Nanosuit was actually based off of ceph tech that was discovered around 100 years ago.[/sp]

Based on my experience in the demo, the more your suit functions level up, the more effective they will be. Example would be Lvl 3 Strength allowed you to move faster and jump higher.
EDIT: Oh. Prophet also found out that [sp] there were sleeping colonies spread out all over the world. But I don't really see how it was that hard to guess anyways. [/sp]

I find it funny really, the only "optimising" Crytek have done to the engine involved making everything look like shit.
They even removed the fucking lightbeam shader that I graciously masturbated to in Crysis.

Just played multiplayer, just search for unranked games you won't be in the leaderboard but if you really wanna play just bear with it.
You WILL still level up and have unlocks even if you play unranked.
I started the campaign, and it'd be nice to actually do something in the first 10 minutes of the game instead of watching cute little scenes
Does your suit change when you progress through the levels in multiplayer?
I find it silly you can still get the "preorder exclusive bonuses" for another 4 days.
I kinda was going to get it today, because I don't like the whole FREE TRIP TO LEVEL 5. But i dunno know.

Yeah.. I remember skydying.. now THAT was cool.
Welp, one of my steam friends told me [sp]prophet dies in the beginning[/sp] so he sorta killed it for me.. darn.

It's also obvious that it happens because it's in the trailer.
i think that crysis 2 is like the first one.. almost :c

Not a trailer that I've seen. But thanks for letting me know.

No offence, but the entire scene in that screenshot doesn't look that good at all.
The disco elevator was removed in retail version.
I think Crytek edited Gould's lines cause there's less "man" than in leaked version, but subtitles remains the same.
