I don't get why people complain about the new suit powers.
In this you can cloak, sprint for a bit and then strength jump and climb a ledge with some energy left over. In the original Crysis you could barely even sprint with cloaked, couldn't strength jump while cloaked and couldn't even climb ledges.
Also I love the way they did lean. It makes me actually use it for once.

The thread is about Crysis 2. Thread filled with people who say its such an amazing game when in fact its not. I have just as much right to say my opinion on the game as anyone else. Posting links about the game and facts about the game is not thread shitting or thread derailing. I'm simply defending my point of view on this title. The fact all anyone else can say in defense is "dont care" or LOLDUMB RATING just proves my point. The game industry today sucks because people let developers get away with this bullshit.

It's a cut watered down version of Crysis with COD aspects thrown in and all the good aspects removed. The MP is so simplistic and easy it isnt fun, the limited nanosuit is trash. Crysis is supposed to be a fun to play unique experience that is also a great benchmark for PCs, not a Sci Fi COD wannabe. This is not an opinion this is a fact on what the series was. Crysis 2 has taken Crysis in the entirely wrong direction.
The game is great. You're probably mad because it wasn't the dream game you expected.
How is the nanosuit limited again? Just because there's no separate strength mode?

I don't find the MP to be CoDish enough to bug me. I don't mind how it looks, in fact I think it looks quit good and if you're REALLY that much into how beautiful a game looks, wait a few fucking months.

Alright, what the fuck. I can't even start the fucking game. The cursor does it's loading thing then 2 seconds later, nothing happens. It was working fine this morning! Anyone help? I tried launching the launcher from it's folder and still nothing. Did Crytek test this fucking game at all?

Does it load up at that image of the Cryengine logo? Just sit there for 30 seconds, mine still does that.

It doesn't do anything. The cursor get's the blue loading circle for about two seconds and then afterward nothing happens.

Sprint mode in the orignal gave you 5 seconds of high speed movement. Energy refills so quickly in this one it doesn't make sense to complain about that, a gameplay tweak to make things fair? How fucking dare they?!
The original 4 modes or armor, strength, speed, and stealth weren't that great. Power is now strength and speed, and a better version of speed at the very least. Stealth is more useful now, and armor is pretty much the same.
