I bet most of the people saying Crysis' story was bad, didn't even have the PC to play it.
The whole storyline QQ didn't make any sense anyway.

did it take more than a minute each frame???
It ran at 7-15fps, was hardly playable, but still beatable. Then I bought a Radeon HD3650 and was able to beat it on Delta.
I went through the whole game with 30-40fps on high, going down to 20fps in a really cloggy situation, but at the ending my FPS went to like 10 because they really hogged resources and that was just fucking pointless which ruined pretty much the whole game.
i don't get why people say crysis is nothing without its graphics because the first time i played it i had a 8500gt and ran it at 800x600 all on low at 20fps if i was lucky and it still owned
gotta say though when i got an 8800gt a little later playing on high was flippin awesome

There were rumors earlier that they were going to try it, which was met with a unanimous "Bullshit!" from gamers.
Charging for demos would be the stupidest decision to do. An interactive medium should have interactive ways of trying it out. Trailers will never cut it with games.
Anybody knows if MP demo will be available on Steam?
I think they'll do a Dragon Age thing; one version of the demo on steam and other on a separate installer.

Won't be getting this until May as I have to get other things sorted. Hopefully will be a good indication to how the game goes.

It wasn't terrible, but it was a little generic, and was probably just there to string together the set pieces
Gameplay was awesome though.

Again, in the character bios CryTek have been churning out, it's mentioned that all air and sea travel near Lingshan island is interdicted, obviously, the military would be focusing on the island and its waters, the aliens might have burrowed down to avoid detection, and I bet it'd take around three years to burrow from the pacific all the way to the US coastline. Also, Rosenthal mentions that the alien ship is likely one giant organism encased in armor plating and thrusters, given the biological composition of its internal conduits. Now, I don't know how much of C1's story carries across to C2, but it's also mentioned that the Ceph might consist of thousands of miniature organisms, which would explain why they were able to adapt so quickly.
I think the Ceph might have just changed their color since Crysis 1. After all, they're all blobs on the inside.

You expected to get that sort of framerate the entire game with a 4670?
