Defiantly a buy if you are getting it for the campaign. The multiplayer can be "Ify" for some people.
Hope if I do buy this game, I don't want to deal with the longest wait ever for signing in on account.

MP right now is pretty broken. There's the CD key that never saves (Tried no dashes, tried lowercase, tried lowercase with no dashes), there's almost no ranked server in North America...

it's the same definition as what crytek did, but I did enjoy the multiplayer and I'm looking forward to playing single player when I get money for it
I think it plays beautifully. The single player campaign is amazing.
Maybe the setting and PCness of it are toned down too much, but it's still a good game.
I find it hard to believe that, as put by a few people in this thread, that this was one of the best singleplayer campaigns they had ever played. While no doubt it's a good game, I only bring this up because I remember when Black Ops was released, people were saying the same thing about its campaign (more specifically the story), which I think the rest of Facepunch would agree is pretty crap. I'm going to wait a few weeks, because it seems in every thread about a just released game, there are only those who love it and hate it, never in between.
I am really liking the SP campaign so far, I haven't even reached the first Pinger and I feel I have been playing for hours. Hope that's not a spoiler.
Thing I dig the most are the parts where there is no fighting, where it's just quiet and you can check out the environment. Also the cutscenes are awesome.
Overall I am extremely satisfied so far.
