I'm not comparing them in terms of them being alike in gameplay, but rather that people's response to them being the same. That is, initial excitement and "this game is amazing", followed by more lukewarm reception. The same thing happens with most games; obviously those who preorder it have a greater interest in the game and are probably more likely to enjoy it. Those of us who are on the fence might not feel the same way if we play it. I'm just saying people should advocate caution when reading all these appraisals for Crysis 2.

Hello from Portugal...
Damn thing just sits there on my hard drive mocking me for not having a Play! button in Steam...
I didn't knew you could fire that many shots without decloaking now.
And for the people who don't like the new speed mode. The old speed mode took like 5 seconds to drain. It was better to leave it on idle and "walk" then to sprint with it. But I am gonna miss bumping into people and sending them flying.
Oh, and cloak mode really looks alot better.
I don't even know if I should get this game, starcraft should be a good buy too. But it's a must. Not sure if get that login forever screen when I buy it though.

I don't even have crossfire and its giving me the flickering issue. Oh well, I'm just running in windowed mode, stopped the flickering. Plus I got a boost in FPS

Does the game use Gamespy or mycrysis.com to log in? Because when I first started the demo I tried the username that I think I used in the first Crysis. And it worked, but when I went to Gamespy and changed my password and logged in, it said "Wrong password". Then I entered the old password again and it worked.
So I went to mycrysis.com and but that did not work since I have never created an account there.
So changing my gamespy password affects Gamespy.com but not Crysis 2? ..
I don't know if it's the same with the full game, installing right now.

You won't be able to play it.
Release runs alot better than the demo for me. I run it on extreme just fine now, but the demo killed me.
