I need some help, I have tried pretty much all I can think of, but I can't fucking disable motion blur!
Wasdie's tool.
Than that is your problem. Crysis is about being open-ended. Some sections I ran, some I stealthed, some I killed those mother fuckers. It is all about choice. [editline]25th March 2011[/editline] Use that advanced tool and disable it.
It doesn't matter what you did. Stop claiming that it's a definite 12 hour campaign. It isn't. Also if it's open ended then you should shut your mouth. Open ended mean I can do what I want, another reason why the game isn't a guaranteed 12 hours.

I don't play like you do, maybe I had to restart from a check-point a few times. Maybe I took things slow a few times? You're not me so would you kindly bug off? And the game is open-world to an extent, Maybe not as much as GTA or JC2. But it is definitely open world to an extent. You have multiple ways to do things and quite a bit of exploring.
Anyone know a way to fix the sound issues during the cutscenes? It seems to jitter and die out regularly, why is this?

Maybe you should stop passing off your experience as the experience every player is going to have. You're not me, so would you kindly bug off with your 12 hour claim? Isn't it funny how your arguments are so bad that I can apply them to you just as easy as you apply them to me.
This game is so fucking cash.

Your experience isn't the same as everyone else will have. I never said it was 12 hours for everyone. I said it was 12 hours for me, and thus yes it (can) be true. Even if I'm wrong. You really need to calm down, you're getting aggressive over a video-game in a forum.

You claimed that it was guaranteed to be that long. Therefore I presented an argument that the game could take more or less time then 12 hours. You claimed it was exactly that amount of time. You also need to learn the definition of aggressive. If you were aware of what it meant you would understand that I have shown no signs of aggression. Anyway It's quite obvious when someone has just created a straw man. I won't waste my time any further by continuing this.

I never claimed anything. I just answered someone's question if the game can be 10-12 hours long. Which in my experience, it was. You're being aggressive, your tone and the fact you tell me to shut my mouth? Very immature. I'm done arguing with a child on steroids. Have fun bein mad.
Yeah I agree with doommarine, I was only saying it can be less depending on how we play and that's exactly what doommarine is doing, so I think garrynohome should calm down and go away for a minute or two.
Just because people can play it in 12 hours doesn't mean it actually lasts that long. Anyone can rush a game, the same way they can take twice as long to beat it to try and prove a point. Ideally you should be comparing times playing on the easiest difficulty, as that's usually what reviewers play on to get a good idea of the time it takes to complete. I wouldn't expect many games nowadays to last nearly as long as they used to last (pre-07) because the majority of developers aim for the 5 hour mark, just to compete with call of duty (and fail, see: medal of honour.)
What the fuck Crysis 2! Been playing with a mighty fine 60 fps untill now. When i left the game earlier it was 60 but now when i try getting on its 12. Help?? And yes it is the same place.

I suggest stealth killing instead. :colbert: more enjoyable, takes longer. I mean who the fuck doesn't like stabbing aliens in the face? Game time is relative to the end user. In the end, let's just shoot for a 7-10 hour mark and call it a day.
I tried wasdie's tool, it didn't work. [editline]25th March 2011[/editline] I have the EADM version.
V1.5 of the graphics options tool is out: http://hotfile.com/dl/111853892/efdefbf/Crysis2AdvancedGraphicsOptions1_5.zip.html
I just beat it again. One thing I love about Crytek is that you always find some new feature or mechanic in the game through multiple playthroughs. On just this playthrough, I found out that if you press down Mouse 3, it opens up the nanosuit wheel. A feature I thought was completely forgotten since the last Crysis. Top left of wheel is armor, top right cloak, bottom left gun customization. Top middle is power if I remember, and bottom right is armor customization.
So true. In my second playthrough, I found out that you keep all of your weapon attachments and nano catalyst. I also learned that holding shift while looking down any ironsights causes your gun to stay completely still. And I also found out where to find dog tags (they're next to corpses of marines or C.E.L.L agents).
So for some odd reason the graphics setting tool completely destroyed my FPS. I was running it fine yesterday and I tried that tool out today and the only things I changed were turning off motion blur, no intro, and toggle crouch and yet the game translated this into "Look and run 10x worse than before". Tried deleting autoexec and the tool itself but that didn't change anything. All the settings are set to lowest so it has absolutely no excuse for running worse.

i told you all fucking [sp]prophet would die[/sp] i fucking told you
Anyone had any luck with the "Serial Code in Use Error"? I was really looking forward to multiplayer after the demo...

Will I be spoiling the story if I say what kind of ending it had? I won't say how it ended or anything, just what kind of ending it had? I'll just add spoiler tags: [sp]It's an awesome cliffhanger that got me super pumped for Crysis 3 (yes Crytek has said it's possible)[/sp]
Anyone fancy a FP lobby? PC master race, obviously. Start in the next half hour, ideally?
[sp] He isnt dead.. [/sp]
They call me Prophet.
I really don't understand the whole Prophet and Alcatraz thing. [sp]The CELL think you're Prophet but you're actually Alcatraz, but then it gets totally fucked up at the end of the game where the player says "They call me Prophet" to some guy named Rasch.[/sp] What the fuck is going on?
