last time i checked ati's strong point is remaining at the same fps at higher resolutions (esp with dual gpus), so it goes to follow that my fps would be roughly the same at 1920x1080

Anyone else notice the little sound that plays whne you pick up a souvenir or email? It's that little piano ring and it sounds almost identical to the one in Bioshock.
Can't remember when it's played in Bioshock, maybe when objectives are updated or you pick up a recording?

It reminds me of some "scary" moments in some games like the elevator part in MGS1 and some parts in RE2. It has nothing to do with it, but it sort of does...

It's not when you pick up a recording, and I don't think I care enough about it to watch through 10 minutes of gameplay waiting for some guy to have his objective updated.

It's actually the tag itself. Click the button on the button on the bottom of the screen while viewing dog tags. It's called Dog Tag Surround I think.

I used the 5 mystery unlocks, but the tags have locked themselves again. I was also supposed to start a rank 5, never did.

I think its the dogtag itself thats Platinum, not the Picture of the Dogtag. I think thats what it means, I dont see much difference though. And you get one Mystery dog tag for each level up, and since you get shot up to rank 5 when you redeem that code, you get those 5 unlocks.
Multiplayer sucks so far. SCAR should be the final assault rifle unlock. Why? Because it shoots as fast an SMG and the bullets do the same amount of damage as the HMG.
The pistols are also pretty much pointless because even if you somehow get to the point where you are getting shot at and don't have time to reload, they still won't do anything to the enemy.
And here is the most bullshit way I've died so far: Melee attacked ONCE, switch to armor mode, shoot other guy about ten times, two shots hitting him in the face (I am using the SCAR), I die because he shot me once. And no, it was not a "power melee attack" or whatever. He just randomly hit me. I tried pulling that off later on and it didn't work.
And if someone gets all headshots, does that mean they might be hacking?
Yeah, lots of people who have been playing Crysis 2 MP seem too good somehow.
The reason everyone uses the SCAR (Besides it being average in damage/recoil and being good at all ranges) is because it's the only good gun you start with. They should have made you start with the feline unlocked, along with more guns in general.
Also ripping the HMG off and using it is hilarious. Two shot [I]everything.[/I]
I feel as if Power mode is under-balanced compared to the other two modes. Armor mode gives you protection as well as the strength Power should have given you, while for some reason, 'Power' only lets you jump higher and run faster. Should power mode also give you strength?
With power, it takes a few tugs to rip an HMG off. While in Armor, it takes one.
So I'm at the part with the hole in the ground with water flowing into it and the second [sp]spore vein[/sp]. I killed all the enemies including the big ass annoying one that takes a billion bullets and then interfaced [sp]with the spore vein thing[/sp]. What do I do now? Do I jump down the hole even though it says to avoid it? Or do I have to backtrack? I can't find anywhere to go.

Look around. There should be a place to climb up on. Avoid the hole.
Also, use C4 on the Heavy Ceph. Only two of them can take the whole thing down.

It seems like most people are mad about how it was compared to Crysis. Plus there's the broken multiplayer, 3 graphics settings, no DX11, etc...

You can steady your aim with power, even with ironsights/reddot.

I figured that one out by mistake, I was spamming C4 around with my best trollface equiped, when the heavy came along resulting in me shitting myself and hitting the detonation button.

Power+Cloak has your player tug a bit before the HMG rips off. With Armor mode, its one quick sway.
C4 is quite effective against Pingers I discovered.

Has anyone managed to jump off the Building in "Dead Man Walking" and survive? I did it once but I died like a second later from gun fire, only reason I think I survived was because I hit the over hang on the way down and it slowed my fall.
I'm just messing around trying to see what I can do in the game.
