There's no maximum strength unless you hold down the punch button which causes the hardest punch.
No maximum speed either. Sprint is basically your fastest speed and it uses suit power.

Is it the same deal for single player as well, or are we going to see that same idea from multiplayer? I enjoyed it on the Xbox, it worked well for having nanosuit abilities incorporated in a fluid gun fight.

Strength is still there, it activates when you do something that requires it, e.g. hold jump button to Strength Jump.
It's not 'strength' per se, but the concept is still there. Crytek made it easier to mix and match the powers.
