My own personal experience with the multiplayer demo contradicts these claims. The settings show no difference either in visual quality or performance. The setting may not actually do anything in the demo.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the reason for the small demo size is only one quality set of models or and stuff.

i just opened up crysis 1 again and made a new account with that, login didn't work for crysis 2

Ive tried Mycrysis, EA and gamespy accounts. Nothing works, I even made new accounts for EA and Gamespy, didn't work. And I'm unable to make a new one for MyCrysis, their 'Create Account' button on their webpage does nothing for me.

I don't get that. It either refreshes the screen without having done anything, or it tells me my username is invalid (when it isn't)
tells me to check my network connectivity.

Also when I first tried to create my account I was having connection problems but then I disabled my hamachi network and it connected and created my account fine. This was shortly after the links went up so I'm sure there was less traffic. But I can still log in just fine every time I try it so I don't know what could be the problem.

Could you take a screenshot of the specific effect that is offending you?
Because I think you're probably talking about that glare or lens flare shit that comes off of really bright lights, the sun, the sky when you look from inside to outside, etc. And if that's the case I suggest you just stop staring at lights.

That's probably it then. What GPU do you have? It may be a problem with crossfire AFR mode.

i'm only speaking from experience with the leak, with crossfire i experienced flickering and incredible bloomage
disable it and see if it lessens (along with your fps)
