I'm on a single 4850. Catalyst 11.2. Disabling Catalyst AI decreases my framerate, looks exactly the same.
So it's definitely a problem with crossfire. You'd do best to wait until they release a new driver version or a new set of application profiles. Shouldn't be long.

This could either be a quick fix, or an incredibly long and painful wait.

Well look at it this way, by time ATI has new drivers or profiles out, the full game will be released. Enjoy skipping the demo.
Or you could do what a lot of others have done and go all out with renaming the exe to different games and seeing what happens. iirc rusty was saying something about the leak and renaming it to GTAIV made his framerate skyrocket and also fucked the game up.

Getting a really heavy CoD feeling from this. It's not really that bad, it's just that the first game had it better, and if I wanted to play CoD, I would play CoD. Christ, are there even going to be multiplayer vehicles at all in the full version?

What is the difference between the launcher exe and the main game exe?
Using either one works and makes no difference in performance for me.

Anybody getting sound problems? I can't hear anything through my headset or speakers. Also whenever I turn on nanovision it gets stuck and won't turn off til I die.
I love how all Cevat said was "Don't download the leak, it isn't a good representation of the game"
Because this demo is a prime example of something good right? Hell half the people can't even log into the damn game.
Alright, voting with my wallet. Just contacted Valve asking for a refund. Steam refund policy says I'll get my money back beings it was a pre-order and the game isn't out yet.
I'll try again in a year when the game is in the closeout bin.

Why? I lose two worthless skins and a perk that you can just unlock anyway. (And perks are part of my problem with the game)
I'd much rather an incompetent studio didn't get my money. Especially when their publisher has chosen to charge $10 more than the norm for no reason.
Keep in mind, I absolutely loved Crysis and Crysis Warhead.
The game is 'gold' now too, so all of these problems won't be fixed until post-release with patches. And as far as I know, no game has ever completely redone multiplayer gameplay through a patch.
Let's not forget the editor.
I wish they would have mirrored what they did with Crysis and release a singleplayer demo that includes the editor.
I can't wait to mess around with Global Illumination.
