I played til lvl 5 a few hours ago, it feels codlike, but my deaths feel like they're my fault, there's no BS. Except the ridiculous ping i'm getting. 771ms people. Oh and we should definitely form like a FP team to play tomorrow, its a lot more fun to run around with four or five people. My Name is Numidium, add me.
There are still people who can't grasp the simple concept of a pre-release demo. [img_thumb]http://i56.tinypic.com/2072g3s.png[/img_thumb]
I'm giving crytek the benefit of the doubt here, but usually something this close to release should be a pretty good representative of the final product.
i have heard this a thousand times and im sorry but youre completely wrong the full game will have extremely minor differences if any
what
Added Numidium and Brt5470.
I don't find it that bad, the only shitty things are the console start screen/menus and the agonizing graphics settings. I actually had to switch to advanced after my eyes burned out from the insane amount of motion blur.
Still can't log in. Gamespy: Crytek, you guys made a great choice.
what
what do you think it means jesus christ
I'm giving crytek the benefit of the doubt here, but usually something this close to release should be a pretty good representative of the final product.
Seeing as it's mostly a port of the 360 demo (released in Jan.), we can get some good differences at the release.
Call of Duty doesn't have preset graphical settings? It still has advanced setting.
I was referring to gameplay, not the settings.
Added Numidium and Brt5470.
Nice, I'm gonna be playing around 13-17 h. Gmt+1
Does anyone have a solution to the connection problems, it won't even let me log in. I just want to play the game, I'm begging.
Oh, and apparently the demo doesn't support USB headsets. Uninstalling yay.
Nice, I'm gonna be playing around 13-17 h. Gmt+1
I'm in the same timezone, will be up all night as I woke up around 3 hours ago with a fever and a cold. :v:
Please use Steam in the final version.
Seeing as it's mostly a port of the 360 demo (released in Jan.), we can get some good differences at the release.
I know, like I said I expect the full version to be better, but as fun as the demo is I feel like they should have put more effort in. [editline]2nd March 2011[/editline] Also add me: krail9
WHAT THE FUCK, CRYTEK. PRESET GRAPHICAL SETTINGS? CALL OF DUTY RIP OFF? WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?! I'm going to go cry in a corner, now. Disclaimer: I like Call of Duty, but I don't want everything to be a clone of it. And don't even try to deny that Crysis 2 is a CoD clone, even the kill streaks are functionally the exact same things.
it isn't since crysis doesn't have killstreaks and the nanosuit is nothing like it and has never been used in any other game, and also, unlike COD, crysis actually uses a suit inspired by a US military concept: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Future_Force_Warrior#Popular_culture [editline]1st March 2011[/editline] and all shooters have gameplay aspects similar to each other
Oh, and apparently the demo doesn't support USB headsets. Uninstalling yay.
What is the advantage of a USB headset anyway? It seems to me they only have disadvantages.
even the kill streaks are functionally the exact same things.
The gunship is terribad. It doesn't do shit.
What is the advantage of a USB headset anyway? It seems to me they only have disadvantages.
wait nvm my headset works i dun think its a usb
-Snip because I'm a fucktard-
What is the advantage of a USB headset anyway? It seems to me they only have disadvantages.
I guess it's easy to travel with?
i remember playing a little yesterday and it seemed like it took way more than 3 kills to get the radar. did that happen to anyone else
oh lol, in the demo folder theres a file named "CrysisWars2(594138)_Pc_2011_02_24.xml" is this some kind of a joke
-snip-
Oh, and apparently the demo doesn't support USB headsets. Uninstalling yay.
It seems to work fine with my AT2020 USB mic, not a headset, but it's USB.
Does anyone know some console command that lets you toggle aim down sight instead of having to hold the right mouse button to iron sight? Or.. where is it in settings.
-snip- Steam screenshots is being dumb but I went 9-1 and got a score of 1440
guys, in the folder mpdemo, theres a file named nigel huh?
What is the advantage of a USB headset anyway? It seems to me they only have disadvantages.
There is no advantage, just convenience.
