I am so at wits end on what to do. I'd really appreciate anyone's help that I could obtain.
This game will not fucking run for the life of it, I'm thinking It's because I have a 64-bit System. Can anyone else confirm this?
"Failed to initialize GameStartup Interface" is the error message I receive when attempting to launch the game. I need help. I really would appreciate it.
Specs (Shit PC, I know, get over it. :V):
Pentium Dual-Core CPU E5200 (Overclocked) @ 3.1 GHz
AMD/ATI FirePro V3800 512MB DDR3
4GB RAM
(Too lazy to add anymore, if you need it, ask me.)
So I go to mycrysis.com, try make an account, and it sits there at "account is being created" forever.
Damn Crytek, buy another server because the 10-year-old Windows ME box you've got ain't cutting it.

Well, that was kinda fun. It's not particularly innovative, but it's fun enough. Killcam is nice, and the nanosuit modes shake shit up enough for it to be varied.

Well, a thing I like about this game is that you can't just sit in a corner 24/7 and get 11 killstreak.
You have to move to get the kill streak.

Oh wow found out why I couldn't log in. For some reason my mycrysis site account's password was different from my mycrysis game account's password. This would've been easier if I had gotten a simple "wrong password" notification. Anyways played a round before I crashed, it's decent but I'm lagging a bit too much. Any config files where I can turn off bloom? Also how do you slide again?

I just had to drop the capital letter at the beginning of my name. Ridiculous. The six times I've lost connection to servers (they're crashing constantly) is getting a bit absurd as well. I hope they fix this in the real game.
As for the actual gameplay itself, I'd just say it's alright. Definitely not what I had expected, or hoped. It's very boiled down, into a crysisy call of duty. The cloaks mix things up a bit, but the absurdly small maps are just plain awful. The large maps in the original were great. This is just an arcade shooter, certainly not the epic game I'd been waiting for. I may buy it, I may not. Portal 2 definitely looks like it'll be more worth my money.
Oh, and if you say this hasn't been downgraded by being put on consoles, you're deluding yourself.

Auto aim + keyboard and mouse = aimbot
Added you on both Steam and the demo, Brt.
Hopefully someone can mod in a coop feature. Would be awesome to maybe even have each person have a separate suit power; Player 1 has Power+Armor; Player 2 has Power+Cloak

Still can't register or login with the account I already had.
Wonderful demo experience thus far, Crytek. A straight 360 demo port that doesn't actually demonstrate anything PC-specific, nor has the infrastructure it needs because you expected PC gamers to remain completely disinterested anyways. And there are rumors there'll be NO Sandbox 3.
I'll just save this money here. Glad I haven't preordered.
