i got this when i renamed the exe to GTAIV, thus actually enabling crossfire
performance skyrocket to like 90fps
unfortunately it looks like this

On the other hand if my ping in Tf2 gets higher than 125 I lag out pretty bad.

Op in that link is pretty stupid, it's a multiplayer map so of course it's going to be less graphical to favor performance. Until the game is released nothing should be compared to Crysis visually.
but i can't help the feeling that i'm missing out on some nice subtle glow
Some useful command lines for Crysis 2 Demo.
+g_skipIntro=1 (Skip annoying intros)
+net_inactivitytimeout=32 (If you get stuck while loading, it quits faster)
+i_mouse_smooth=30 (Disable mouse smoothing for better fluid mouse movement and removes mouse lag)
+sys_maxfps=0 (Unlimited FPS)

That's a workstation graphics card. One meant for accelerating rendering of crap, not one meant for gaming.
I mean, just look at the memory on that thing, gaming GPUs nowadays use GDDR5 and that thing actually has DDR3.

right click the Crysis 2 shortcut, properties, shortcut tab, target, after crysis2demo.exe" +whatever command +???
for example, "c:/program files(x86)/electronic art/crysis 2/bin32/crysis2demo.exe" +i_mouse_smooth=30 +sys_float_exceptions=0
I really didn't enjoy it. I spent about 2 hours with it and while it's nicely presented, it feels much too much like COD. The level design is too busy and I feel sick after playing it for a while.
Will still be getting it for the single player.

Well it's a multiplayer map, even compared to Crysis 1's multiplayer map it's still lacking. Hopefully Dx11 will shape some things up.
