I would guess P2P going by the warning that showed up when I started it. It mentioned I'm a behind a firewall, so players may have a hard time joining my games.

It angers me that people are actually canceling pre-orders because of this. This isn't the full multiplayer in the game. There's more to it, not to mention the editor and the singleplayer.

God damn it the server browser/lobby system in this game is terrible. In the rare occasion you don't actually find a server that's not full, most of the time it's just a bunch of people sitting in a lobby for a game that doesn't start. What happened do joining a game in progress, and more importantly how do console gamers live with this retarded system? Crytek really need to add a 'start game' button.

black ops is an unoptimised piece of shit running on an engine that's around 5 years old
Crytek really need to add a [b]STOP LOADING THE SERVERS FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK[/b] button since I receive about 1200 servers in 5 minutes every time I go into the browser and it's a chore clicking on the one I want to join.
It's even worse in Killing Floor when your selection stays relative to the area you clicked on the screen so you always have a risk of the browser refreshing and joining the wrong server.
The game is solid.
The server system is the problem here.

Oh, so the PC MP demo ends after a week?
My friend got really excited when he saw me play it. I even let him try it. He said that he may preorder it based on his first impressions. But now that he would like to play it HIMSELF, it won't let him log in. He is really angry and frustrated and fears what will happen when the full game is released, so he is having some serious second thoughts about preordering it.
And if he doesn't get to play it at all before the demo ends, he ain't preordering.
(temporary) fix for people with G35's or other surround headsets that want to play:
1: Close the g35 software from your system tray
2: Disconnect + reconnect your headset
3: When it queries Windows Update for drivers, tell it to stop looking. It should install some generic headset driver and ask you to restart. Don't restart.
4: Play happily (but remember, your headset buttons won't work and you're stuck in 2ch mode)
5: When you're done, reboot and start the G35 software up. Wait about a minute, then disconnect-reconnect and let it install the proper G35 drivers. You might need to restart the software a couple times for it to recognize the surround toggle.
It's not ideal, but at least it works.

Yes we've all known this, some retard said it wouldn't ship with DX11 on launch and then that devolved into "it'll only ship with DX9 on launch." There's no reason in believing anything unless it's straight from the devs themselves.

I do not really understand people saying this is the worst game they have ever played.
Apart from the full servers and the non-working friends-list Crysis 2 looks aweomse and plays awesome. It is definitely fun.
