Whatever you will do, nanovision or radar will find you. I like to crouch into vegetation on skyline though to recharge my suit.
i dunno whether it's been posted but if you want to get better performance + sort out the FOV issues and stuff use this:
save this as crysis.bat (whatever name you want just make sure it's a batch file (also make sure this is saved in the same folder as the crysis 2 demo .exe))
you can fiddle with the fov settings until you get something you like as well, and if you have a dual gpu card just add "+r_MultiGPU 1" in there as well
This is not working for me i put there but it doesnt run :(
Help me where should I specific put this .bat file?
Multiplayer is shit compared to Crysis and Crysis Wars.
I miss crawling through the vegetation as an enemy tank rolled past, sun setting across the desert in the distance.
Hearing the buzzing of a suit in stealth behind me, seeing some leaves being pushed aside and strength punching that cloaked bastard.
Now it just seems to be CoD: Predator.
It's not that shit really. The CoD formula fits the Crysis universe and gameplay much better than the CoD games do IMO
I do wish for more open/large maps though like you said. And by balancing it out so that sprint mode actually makes you sprint fast like in Crysis...
For example, current sprint mode should still exsist but drain as much energy as nanovision does (aka not much). But if you double tap sprint, it should make you go really fast and drain energy a little faster than it does now. Sprinting should make you really vunerable though, like maybe having to slow down after your done sprinting or not being able to turn much.

I'm almost positive that there will be much larger maps and vehicles in the full game's multiplayer.
Stealth Enhance level 3 :smugdog:

Crysis MP could use a few of the Crysis 2 features like the jumping slam.
At least in this they don't take an entire mag to kill.
Super human suits, thats how it should be.
Stomping is absolutely my favorite thing to do. It may not be really that effective but it sure as hell is loadsa fun.
Super human suits, thats how it should be.
In singleplayer sure, in a MP game that isn't very fun.
how do you make the back door on a VTOL open in trackview

Super human adaptive nanosuits are the core to Crysis lore. Whats in SP should transfer over into MP, thats the whole point of NANOSUIT DEATHMATCH.
I dont want a COD 1hit bullet kill game I want a super human 5 clips to kill someone game.

neither are fun
Found a way around the login screen at the demo for those of you who still can't get it to work and haven't heard of it yet.
Edit: Stupid me. Forgot to post the actual way around it :V
When you're in at the login screen, Create an account, BUT, Use a fake e-mail. You read right, USE A FAKE EMAIL.
If you don't like it, Whine some more until it works. You may not get notifications, regards, forums etc. Blah blah blah
BUT AT LEAST YOU GET TO PLAY.

You should suggest that on MyCrysis.
The 3D menu is awesome, the first time I saw it was rotatable I instantly thought of Super Smash Brothers Melee :v:

Also the shotgun sucks ass.
This game is the sex, but how do you slide on PC?
Start sprinting then hold crouch
Ok, this is getting ridiculous. Either I keep finding full servers even though I'm supposedly filtering out both full and empty servers, or I find a game I can actually join and I'm stuck in a lobby.

The textures etc. might not be the best in the demo, but god damn, the post processing is amazing.
I'm almost positive that there will be much larger maps and vehicles in the full game's multiplayer.
Confirmed no vehicles, this is pretty much the multiplayer. I think Peir is going to be the standard as far as "large maps" go - the whole multiplayer mode is based around 12 players max.
I don't mind that, but it would be nice to have even larger maps with larger player counts for that specific game mode. I.e. maybe a 12v12 game mode featuring vehicles on maps ala Halo or something, in addition to the the "CQB" tight maps and game modes we have now.

Those are the best abilities. Because they are crazy enough to appeal to players who like over the top implied-powerful abilities, but are not over dominating and as useful in a competative enviornment.
That way people like me who love casually playing get a kick out of doing stuff like that, and competative players keep quiet because it's not imba and can't be used everywhere.
This is the most fun I've ever had with a demo.
Better than the Just Cause 2 demo.
You should suggest that on MyCrysis.
I'll just tell it to one of my old mod leads whos on my MSN since he works for crytek
Though on second thought he'd probably just go "Lol no" seeing how late it is in development and he just deals with the engine. And crytek germany didn't do the multiplayer
I have my crouch set to left control which makes it difficult to slide because I have to adjust how my fingers are positioned while sprinting. My Crysis 1 keyboard setup doesn't work well with Crysis 2's controls.
Also, I'm enjoying this demo more than I ever did in Crysis Wars. Crysis Wars gameplay was too slow due to extremely open environments and you spent more time getting to where the combat was than actually being in the combat. You're either having a confrontation with one other enemy (mostly a sniper battle) or waiting for a vehicle to finish building in a factory, then driving it to a location only to have some douche bag(s) in stealth blow you off the road with a missile launcher. Thus, the process repeats. Hell, ninety percent of the time everyone was in a bush with a Gauss Rifle/Sniper Rifle, while the very few were driving around trying to do objectives. I hate the illusion that some people have on this forum, that if a map is a mile squared and has vehicles, it's obviously the best and everything else is worse and boring. Instant Action was the only way I really enjoyed Crysis Wars.
I must say the crysis 2 controls are really weird.
Almost... consolised.
Toggled crouch.
Delayed sprint.
Button based suit controls when there's a middle click menu.
Nanovision being assigned to the FUCKING WORST KEY EVER (N)
Autoaim enabled by default
etc. etc.

The autoaim is for controllers. I suppose it works if you have a controller plugged in but play with m+kb, but that can be fixed.
Using keyboard for suit functions is faster than middle mouse, you're right about it seeming consolized.

Normal (Example: Ghost Recon)
Hm?
Don't see nothing wrong with it
Rebind
Only when using a pad, otherwise it's not on
etc?
I don't like toggle crouch either, I haven't noticed a delay, middle-click menu is too slow, reassign the nanovision key, autoaim is only for controllers.

By the time you try to select a power in the radial menu, you would already be dead. You would be better off not using a power at all.
Fuck, guys. I'm gone from my computer for half of a week and there is already 1000+ more posts in this thread?
