Okay, with the old Crysis sandbox, I'm thinking of recreating the City centre of Manchester such as the road layout and buildings then see if I can create textures using Google Maps. Won't be the best but worth a try. The possibly build out if I have the chance.
You heard it, Team Deathmatch in Manchester city centre.. oh wait, we have it in real life :(
Loading the first mission freezes my game.

Last I checked, virtual machines handled 3D graphics as well as I handle cross country running.
Try it out, mine has full dx9 shader 3.0 support.
You're all fools (this is what I got from the story :3:).
[sp]Beginning of the game Prophet said Alcratraz was HIS last hope. Now flash forward, the doctor next to Gould says that the suit is combining itself with Alcatraz and healing his wounds possibly.
Now the suit is part biological, so it can do this. This means the virus is trying to get into the suit and infect it, but due to the suits nano-capabilities the virus is thwarted and the suit is generation antibodies in contained areas. The suit is also letting the virus run free through itself (since it's now immune).
Back to the transformation, the suits owner was originally set to Prophet (as said in Crysis 1: no suit can be worn by two persons) and it only recognized his biological code. In Crysis 1 (Nanosuit v1) the suit would kill it's 'new' owner, but my guess is for the Nanosuit v2 is that with certain people it can 'merge' with them and slowly change their code to the old one.[/sp]
At least thats my take.
[sp] It also might explain why you're character is silent throughout the game: he simply can't speak.[/sp]
To be honest, I didn't like the dialogue at all. I wonder if the German voiceovers are better.

Also, this song has a huge, huge Halo vibe. Jump to about 0:40 and you'll see:

Plays after the game introduces you to the weapon customisation in the third level and you're overlooking that small group of enemies with the ICV.
Orgasmic music ahhhhh

SEND ME MORE CVARS! :argh:
[editline]21st February 2011[/editline]
Never mind. I looked through the core files and found the three best cvars.
g_infiniteAmmo = 1
g_godMode = 1
g_infiniteSuitEnergy = 1
Anyone got a hamachi server up? Tunngle is laggy as fuck.
Edit:Screw it, I'll do it myself.

Is there a way to run Crysis 1 in 64-bit mode? Every time I type r_displayinfo 1 into console, it says in the corner that it's 32-bit.

Bullshit, just because you only join some russian servers tunngle isn't laggy as fuck. On my friends server I can actually hit running players with the DSG-1.

Do you own Crysis 1 on Steam or do you own a retail copy?
Crysis 1 editor: How do I stop the HDR getting way out of hand on low and medium? I edit in high/ultrahigh but I feel considerate.
Get VMware player (freeware), install old disc of Win XP inside virtual machine, boot virtual machine and use Sandbox 2 inside of it.

Well, I mean this solution will work for sure, just an idea.
Well I don't have a copy of XP or Vista :/ Any other suggestions?

Well how am I supposed to tell where a server is located or what its ping is, hmmm?
Steam
There's your problem.
Look around the Crysis sub-forum on the Steam forums for how to get 64-bit working.
Great, now it won't start up

Crysis 1 or the leak? If it's the leak, stop complaining.
I got another question.
I have put "con_restricted = 1" in the autoexec.cfg but I can't bring up the console. Which key should I press? I have a swedish keyboard if anyone ask.
Just finished the campaign.
Anyone notice how everybody says "man"? Especially Gould. I find it annoying.
Yah. That's what I meant when I commented on how they talk like teenagers. I think microsoft sam would be an upgrade compared to the current voices.
Beginning reminds me too much of TRON: Legacy.
Dude. TRON: Legacy had an amazing soundtrack. I would love if Daft Punk did the Crysis 2 music.
i went on some guys youtube video where he shows off pictures of this game which, isnt even out yet, and reports me for trolling when i was telling him to get out of the internet.
i love how some people think you can simply ban someone for voicing an opinion.
I wonder how it's going to compare to the first game, aside from the environment change.

It does sound like trolling though...

More of the same. In a good way.
Streamlined controls are nice as well.
It does sound like trolling though...
there is such thing as wording it wrong.
Wait, if [sp]Prophet is integrated with the Suit and you get to view his memories throughout the game, does that mean we'll get an explanation as to what the fuck he was doing between the point he was taken in Cry1 and the point he reappears inside the sphere later on in the game?[/sp]
A simple yes or no from the leak-players will suffice. I don't mind the spoilers MUCH (words typed on a webpage won't dampen the revelations that badly for me), but I don't want to know TOO much.

Good to hear. Obviously the MP is smaller, but it seems fun.

shame the film was shit and that this game's graphics are more realistic than the cgi jeff bridges
Damn, died to a gunship 2 times, then some weird debug shit filled the screen and couldn't see a dog's shit. This game makes me laugh.
Can someone give me a fairly large resolution side view of the Scar 2?
