Yes. [sp]Crytek got rid of almost all continuity especially when they try to nuke the city(nuking the aliens worked so fucking well last time amirite?) but they did show us why prophet went back.[/sp]
there is a lot of continuity between the two games.
Last time there was a giant freaking energy sphere, that was absorbing the energy, [sp]there wasn't one this time.[/sp]
Strickland is related to the Strickland from Crysis 1
Prophets flashbacks shows stuff from Crysis 1
[sp]Hargraves Library[/sp] has the heads of the flying aliens from Crysis 1 mounted on his walls [sp]Look to the top of the right wall when you get to the table that holds the syringe,[/sp]
Lots of references to the Island from Crysis 1 as well.
I'd say thats pretty good continuity
Have you already tried the trackview way? It should work fine, I never had any problems with trackview.
Crysis related: How do I get into the sandbox mode in Crysis 1? I have the Steam version.
Steam/steamapps/common/crysis/bin32/editor.exe
For wars you have to download the SDK, you could google it.

I did the trackview animation by going to view>trackview, did the animation, did the flowgraph part and it worked but it was all gone when I re-entered sandbox2

That's why the pentagon wasn't aware of what caused the aliens to gain immense power right? [sp]Did nomad just leave out the part about them absorbing the nuclear energy when they would have had to discuss what happened?[/sp]
how do i make lense flare, whats the entity named
its not a particle is it? been looking for a sprite but none to be found
I hope that once Crysis 2 comes out, that someone remakes the tactical attachment from crysis 1.

I don't think the environment of a dying city will suit that kind of gameplay.
I never understood what use the tactical attachment was supposed to have, anyways.

It made the koreans fall asleep.

It was great when a silenced weapon couldn't kill because of the range, and a sniper wasn't available.
New trailer that tells what Prophet did at the end of Crysis 1.

As I said in my post. There was no giant Energy absorbing Bubble absorbing the energy. So they didn't have to worry about that.
If you remember at the end of Crysis 1 we used a mini nuke launcher to kill the giant ship, so they don't absorb the nuclear energy on contact, it was the bubble over the island.
Hargreave's a prick :/

Does this trailer spoil anything in the game? AKA will I learn the same information featured in the trailer in the game?

Cool, but what happened to Nomad?
Hargreave's a prick :/
[sp]What no? He most likely completed the work of Gould on the anti-virus against the aliens, without him you would have only destroyed the spore generators, but not cured the infection. Blame him for being a silly old man, because he believed he could do it on his own, with stealing the suit he created. Blame him for feeling guilty, because wasn't it his fault that the aliens awake again?[/sp]
I wish there was coop. Hopefully someone will make a coop mod.

Hopefully the novel is revolved around Nomand+Psycho.

The Crysis 1 story seems so much better with that one trailer.
I miss Nomad already.
i like how crysis 2 took crysis 1's shitty story and made it seem good

A direct continuation of Crysis' story would've been nice, but Nomad was pretty fucking bland anyway, though he did have the nice distinction of being able to speak. And I'll defend Crysis to the bitter end as not being just a tech demo, but the story wasn't exactly compelling and seemed to just be a necessity to string together the cool setpieces.

:mmmhmm: You simply have no idea how great it is. Even that buggy piece of beta code is fantastic.
Does the story seem kind of generic to anybody else?
it's just another alien invasion plotline; the only thing is that it is set in NYC.

Kinda, but it feels like a good one. For some reason it reminds me of War of the Worlds.

Well, look on the bright side. Alcatraz's lack of vocal ability will make him ripe for a "Freeman's Mind"-esque parody.

With him being portrayed as having a raging tequila hangover throughout the game? I can live with that.

I can see it, "Alcatraz's Mind".
"Should I tell CELL that I'm not actually Prophet? Nah, what's the worst that could happen?"
