yeah, when i got it i assumed it wouldn't be that bad (back then i thought the bigger the number the better, since i upgraded from a 7600gt). boy did i get a surprise when it even had trouble playing cod4 at 1280x1024 with more than 20fps

Is it possible to remain in stealth while shooting?
There was someone doing this in a server I was playing in and he always had 30+ kills after the round ended. Apparently he did have improved stealth equipped (according to my killcam) but I didn't know it would let you remain in stealth.
If that actually is in game I'm not buying it. The whole point of stealth was that it doesn't work while shooting to make it balanced.
You can slap a silencer on a gun, then you can fire one or two shots before you run out of energy when cloaked.
It's hardly "reamining in stealth" though, so don't worry.
I love the sniper/cloak combo. Either shoot from cloak or go into cloak after a shot. Sniping has never been easier, yet loads of palyers still run around with machine guns. I'm not promoting camping, as in my opinon to be a good sniper you need to move every couple of kills.
Anybody knows how SP is going to work on Vista, 2GB 667MHz RAM, GeForce 8400GS 256MB and some kind of dual core Athlon 2.2GHz? Just curious.
The demo's pretty sweet, but I have to make a new account each time I start the game up, or I can't lock in :saddowns:

Probably not going to work at all, or at an unplayable framerate.
A 8400GS won't get you really far in terms of recent games - and Crysis 2 is the most demanding game of them all...

And what about system.cfg? Maybe it'll run well if I add some fps-improving convars?

My experience with a sniper has been made of nano vison, cloak every now and then, and a Silenced DSG1.
Good thing silencers don't do anything to the sniper's damage. :buddy:

Improved stealth won't let you do that. He's most likely cheating.
Silencers don't let you shoot from cloak in multiplayer, unfortunately.
Yeah, I heard there are already cheats flowing around...

Am i the only one that hates that you can literally remove your weapons recoil? It removes any difficulty this game had. Not to mention how unbalanced it gets for new players.
