Why would I pay 44$ to inflict pain upon myself?

Black Ops was much better than MW2 and I enjoyed it

45€? Isn't it already a few months old? I paid 32€ for AC: Brotherhood which is a much better game.

Weird thing with MW2 is, the critics kept on giving it positive reviews while the userbase gives it shit reviews, wouldn't be surprised if activision bribes the critics.

Hype guys.. its all in the hype.. I can agree with the Halo 3 and GTA IV hype, but Modern Warfare 2 compared to Black Ops is just a level pack with texture changes.

Black Ops was a fun game, it was mindless, but everyone just needs to kick back once in a while. And the [sp]trippy bit where the main character breaks from his chair and wanders around and he hallucinates[/sp] was pretty fucking cool. Besides, the bots circumvent any need to go anywhere near the awful community.

A sale for CoD, i'd have atleast thought a sale for cod would raise the price.

Took a look at the steam page and when I searched for it I saw the price of 45€ and thought "Guess it's not discounted in Europe." Turns out it is.. from 60€.

Doesn't require a lot of thought to play/succeed in it either. Thats why its so popular especially with mainstream audience.
