Pretty much what M_B said, but talking about visuals it's pretty ugly.
Well better than Natal that's for sure (though that doesn't say much).
If you actually saw the demos, the motion control is not even close to the Wii.
This tracks your motion (Realistic sword fights etc.)
While Wii is nothing more then pre-created combos "Move remote down, up and press left-pad to do "X" combo!"
As for the PS3, you move it, the object moves the same way you moved it, rather then some dumb pre-created combo.

Lightsabre games would be amazing with this.

OP ought to add this to his post:

It's pretty accurate.
Reminds me of star-wars
It's a diode so that the camera can track the movement easier.
I'd like to test out that sandbox that they demoed in E3, looks like the wii we always wanted.
It's not a diode, it's a light source (and easily trackable shape) for the PS EYE software to track.
LED can be said as a Diode, and said LED can be the light source. But that orb is not a diode.
I would say:
Basically it's copying the webcam controller, http://www.camspace.com/ with add-on of the accelerometers for enhanced spacial information.

Also I can't wait until stupid lose grip on the controller and smash their tvs.
Also it's dildos.

Does anything long and cylindrical look like a pleasure toy to you
It's the pink end.
It's the pink end.
That bit changes colour.
Like Natal this thing either needs to be done perfectly or not at all.
I think this could be pretty good if done properly and unlike the Eyetoy, several games support it.

The current model is only a prototype. It'll have a different look before release date.

yeah i forgot to mention that too.
The finished one will probably be changed to fit the PS3's design style and all.
It might be okay, but I reckon Natal will be better

so to do a spin attack, you prefer to spin irl? Also MotionPlus
It's like the Wii controller, but better and uglier.
Seriously, who thought putting a weird pink ball on the top looks good.

Again this is just a prototypme.
That ball is actually a set of LED's that change depending on what buttonts the player presses.
So the EYE can tell weather you want to throw a fireball or an iceball for example.
so to do a spin attack, you prefer to spin irl? Also MotionPlus
All right, so you are telling me you'd rather have limited attacks rather then unlimited possibilities?
I think this will be more of a hit than Natal. I just don't think gaming is ready for something that revolutionary but it sure will build a strong base for more upcoming full body motion controllers.
Looks nice. Can´t wait to see the endless videos on YouTube with stupid people throwing these ones in all kinds of stuff.
Depends if neat games comes with PS3 Stick feature.
this vvv
I'm really looking forward to it because they are aiming for the controller to be focused on games that are not only sport and yoga fuckups.
It's really fucking accurate and when I first saw it on E3 my mind was blown really.
ive seeen the demos, i think it looks slightly better than the wii. but i dont think it will take off. if project natal is all its bee nhyping to be, everyones fecked
Natal is a joke right now. Doesn't work as it should. There's a delay and it doesn't pick everything up you do.
