Guess who isn't buying Black Ops? Though, Activision will still make millions, then release dlc for $25, and include 2 maps. :geno:
You're acting as if you're being FORCED to buy the map packs.
That's what Halo 3 did I was fucking pissed.
World of Call of Duty VII: Two Multiplayer Edition Stater Pack Series 8 Volume 2 *Online subscription fees and shit must be payed or you can't play, which means you'll have to go back to the store and complain that it doesn't work when in reality it does.
EA should just buy Activision.
World of duty call of warcraft border halo lands?
Kotick's logic: "Well, that yacht is really nice."
This is probably the worst thing you could currently do to the series.
best idea in the world
I never understood the MW2 hating, I played the game quite a bit until I got bored of the same old song and dance. It was better than some games that come out nowadays, and the community isn't as bad if you mute the little kids.
If I ever find myself within a reasonable range of Bobby Kotick I will kick him so hard in the balls.
Someone should find out where he lives, wait for him in the morning and before he enters his car to go to office, kick him in the balls, take pictures and run.

Looks like it's off to Georgia for me.. A fiddle battle is our only hope.
Oh well, Medal of Honor and BC2:V look like much better games to spend my money on.
The fact that theres always people just running around knifing, using the grenade launcher and scavenger(or one man army), and quick scopes.
The only one I have ever noticed is overuse of the grenade launcher, and it isn't really game ruining.
You're acting as if you're being FORCED to buy the map packs.
Technically you're not forced to buy them, but you're pretty much gimped if you don't. You just get kicked from lobbies when a map you don't own crops up.
Oh well, Medal of Honor and BC2:V look like much better games to spend my money on.
You realize Vietnam is going to be a very small portion of gameplay, and not a full game, right?
i see where he's coming from, but i think a subscription system couldn't compensate the lost sales caused by having a subscription system in the first place. it would work if it were optional, like subscribing to get unique weapons or w/e. EDIT: i see this thread has reawakened the anti-cod fanboys. i thought bc2 and moh would've shut them up for a bit longer.
You realize Vietnam is going to be a very small portion of gameplay, and not a full game, right?
It's an Expansion Pack. That means it will be 1/2 to 2/3 the size of the original game.
What. The. FUCK.
Fuck this, subscribing for a FPS? Almost as crazy as subscribing for APB. Call of Duty died with Call of Duty 4
Fixed.
Fixed.
silly willy the true anti-cod answer is that it died after cod2 came out. if you're gonna troll, troll properly.
Statement: I don't really care for the Call of Duty series. Observation: I or my family own almost all the Call of Duty games. Conclusion: I'm an idiot.
silly willy the true anti-cod answer is that it died after cod2 came out. if you're gonna troll, troll properly.
I'm not trollin', bro. EDIT: I loved Call of Duty 4.
The sad part is is that this is going to work seeing as how people have already bought 2 5-map map packs for $15 each.
The sad part is is that this is going to work seeing as how people have already bought 2 5-map map packs for $15 each.
I haven't. I win medals?
Lol, everyone at my school used the ps3 profile glitch to get the shitty map packs.
This *might* be justified if they added dedicated servers, 32, 64, 128, and 256 player matches, 20 new gametypes ranging from super arcady to Arma realistic, 30 new maps, some giant ones for the 256 players, 100 new weapons, and if it was cheap. ONLY then. It seems like they aren't even going to add anything new, just charge for what's already there.
dont they make enough money
^^^
