Kotick Wants Call of Duty Subscriptions "Tomorrow" - Games

I can understand a Subscription for MMO's like World of Warcraft, bloody Warhammer Online, APB to a certan degree (Though, that game would attract more people without the top-up subscriptions), Most PC MMO's i can easily understand. Servers and content and such. I could understand why Pyantasy Star Universe on the xbox360 needed a Subscription, Because sega was hosting it independantly and needed the Money for more content such as the Max-G events and other new content, dont ask me about PSU. Im only a Regular in the Demo, Which is free but there is next to nothing to do... apart from talking to people. What i cant understand is why have a Monthly Fee for such a limited FPS like Call of Duty? What would make it so worth paying $15 or £10, depending where your from the world. For a game that is rushed nowadays without any TLC? If this works, and all the diehard fanboys of the Series who are blind about the flaws of the game. (Eg, Its just not fun :P). Kotick should be using Microtransactions for ingame items, and make them overpriced to hell and make everything else 30 day items that run out when your not playing games. That adds up more than a Monthly fee surely? (S4 league hosted by Alaplaya was like this, one of the reasons why i wiped my hands clean of that game for so long. Basicly. it was BUY ITEMS OR FAIL AT THIS GAME!) If this works, Hats off to him for ripping off so many people (or should i say idiots?) of their money.

Hahahaha hes gonna lose every casual console player seeing as most of them cant afford subscriptions or dont understand the concept of one. And lose a lot of players in general from a boycott of the game over paying money to play a medicore arcade shooter.

It will work. But only for the first month. Then when everyone gets booted off for not renewing their subscription, the little kids' parents will be pissed that they have to keep paying like WoW and tell their kids to stop playing. Boom, millions of players drop out.
