Radical Highway is in fact a stage from Sonic Adventure 2, but he was referring to a stage from Sonic 2006 called Radical Train.
Ah, my mistake.
Episode 2 in motion.
It looks [sp]Pretty good![/sp]

They even brought in the falling warning signs from generations :v:
So I recently started playing Colors again.
I suck at this game. Unleashed and Generations? I can totally ace those stages given I can concentrate for a while. I can definitely see that, with Generations, Sega was able to find the perfect balance of a speed to platforming ratio.
Colors, in my opinion, is obviously really really good. The wisps actually manage to provide a good way to show something new in the series without taking center stage too much. However, I find that this engine simply wasn't meant for such frequent halts in speed. I guess it's great if you're a hardcore fan of the 16-bit games, and that's totally fine, but honestly I just find myself wanting to not jump all the time (especially considering that Sonic's jump height isn't fantastic and it's a bit harder to get jumps right sometimes).
It's good to see that Sega was definitely taking precautionary steps to making sure they got it right (which I believe they did with Generations).
I think they got around this by incorporating some elements from Hydrocity Zone into Seaside Hill and some from Marble Garden into Sky Sanctuary.
They did slightly (hanging onto bars in the current from Hydrocity Zone, and I guess that godawful marble lift in Sky Sanctuary Zone was an allusion to Marble Garden Zone, but it worked differently), but I'd still like to see the stages themselves put in.
I wish Sega would remake an engine similar to Sonic adventure 1/2, though after Sonic 06 they are afraid of donig anything similar, which is a shame because SA2 had great levels that would actually keep the fucking camera behind you.

And also in Rooftop Run with the platforms on the ziplines which is an allusion to Hill Top Zone (?)
it's normal to fucking hate shadow, right? Like, not because of he's a dick, but as a character he just seems so...dumb. To me, he feels like the generic "cool" character.
Well to be fair, I don't like him now specifically because he's not a dick. I mean, that was originally his whole deal, just as cocky as Sonic but without the heroic motivation. Now he's just ~emotionally tortured hurr~

Shadow ditched the emotionally-tortured aspect at the true ending of his titular game as well as his heavy memories for Maria.
His badass attitude towards things in Sonic 06 is probably one of the, if not only, redeeming qualities. Now he's more of an anti-hero rival with a lack of social awareness or something.

Well, has he ever really appeared in anything since 06? I mean in the handheld games yeah but the main console releases?

All of two games, wowee
In which not many characters showed up in.

Sorta, yeah.
I am really so goddamn annoyed at Eggman sometimes. I was Watching Sonic X this morning. YES SONIC X, and Eggman has a chance to finally destroy everybody instead he waits for Sonic and ends up losing. I don't get it Why do you have to wait for Sonic? Is it a big game to you, is it your pleasure to get beaten by Sonic? Maybe Eggman and Sonic were friends at a time and Eggman suggested that "Hey Sonic, I have an Idea, lets destroy each other!" And Sonic went along with it. And Eggman lost so much that he permanently hated Sonic, even though physiologically, he still thinks it is a game. Its honestly bullshit how Eggmans character think.
But who am I to put logic in a Sonic game?

Maybe he just enjoys fighting Sonic, like how Bowser enjoys fighting Mario. That's a common trait for villains.

Best sonic music ever (except for City Escape).
Bridge Zone was only in Sonic on the Master System, so most people in the US have never heard of it, since it didn't get a US release (only Europe and Australia). The level wasn't very good though, but the music was very cheerful :)

I could have sworn it was unlockable as an extra game in Sonic Adventure DX, but that might have been the Game Gear version of it.
I vote we change the title to "I went fast once and it was amazing"
4 agrees? I suggest this should be done.

If you can get the OP to agree, I'll do it.

Whatever you prefer, it really doesn't make a difference who does the OP as long as the content of it doesn't suffer.
I don't even know how to change thread titles, but Megaguy's got a point, so all's well soon. :v:
Who's hosting the next thread anyway? rikohzx still?
Is it bad that I didn't figure out why SA2B says Mild Lyrics on the back until now?
