If it helps, since I didn't finish the whole region, there are still areas in the configuration that are open, but I'd rather you didn't edit those unless I gave you my permission. I could also extend the ocean outwards some, too, at pretty much any time.

To be honest, I could care less about cheating because I'm quite sure you really can't screw up the demand using cheats (there are no demand cheats IIRC). The only reason I put that rule in there is just in case I'm wrong. I don't usually cheat personally, though.
I already knew about the god-mode cheat and I used it when I was creating the Topaz cities in the northeast. I went into mayor mode so I could have super-fine control over terrain leveling, and after I had adjusted everything, I replanted trees. I think the fact that mayor-mode terrain adjustments are so expensive makes up for the use of god-mode.
Welp, the region is done. It's a bit hilly, but it'll do. I just need to finalize it.
I'd like to say that'll take another 30 minutes, but considering what happened last time, I'm going to ballpark it at 3 hours.
Is there a site other than Simtropolis for mods? Every page takes about a minute to load for me and the entire process of finding and downloading a mod takes at least 15 minutes.

We're actually trying to keep any mods we use to the Dropbox/FTPBox. Good news is we have the SA Gigapack, which basically has a lot of really, really good mods, so stay tuned for that.

I've found that saturating everything with trees also nets a huge increase in Mayor Rating and Land Value, but these could simply be side effects of reduced pollution.
Another terraforming trick I've seen is to use roads to level out terrain entirely. You can then create small cliffs which can become terraces or city levels when the sloped terrain is built over. Furthermore, they can be used to lower the terrain evenly, allowing for sunken highways, makeshift canals, and tunnels under an existing metropolis.

Yep, got myself locked out from the server. I assume it's probably working, but I probably screwed a bunch of stuff up. For you smart people who don't screw a bunch of things up, I'm going to upload the region to the Dropbox. Just switch it over to the FTP when you get a chance and hope to god I didn't screw as much stuff up as I think.
