You can only use the white jeep like car from crysis 2, kinda rare, civilian cars are only good for blowing up.

The suitcase is the sleeping bag, I can't believe I fuckin mislabelled it. No more 4am fixes on Sunday for me.
The guy on the container was an npc you can recruit, once the zombies die that are supposed to be waving there arms and attacking him he runs to one of the guard points you set up.
I'll hopefully have a nonshit recruit system in place for public release.
Also eat to drink and drink to eat. I mixed that up too .-.
Simple mistakes nab you in the ass.

Obviously they're having an end of the world party man, and they don't want you to join them.
Looks prettier than the other popular zombie survival mods.
I decided to work on a hotfix, expect some updates in the next few hours.

I think i'm gonna pick up crysis 2 on the Christmas sale just for this.
So after playing around a bit heres some feedback.
A driveable car at the spawn would be very useful so you don't have to walk to the nearest town with a car just to get anywhere.
Zombies cant reach you if you stand at certain points under the crashed heli (for example right under the rotor wing).
Zombies will follow you into water and die, imo they should stay on the shore or just follow you to knee/chest height.
The item menu seems pretty bugged overall, after eating one item the blank space where it used to be would still be selectable and sometimes I would have to click the arrows multiple times for it to change item.
The driveable CELL car speeds up waaay to fast, but thats probably how it is in the original crysis 2. But you might want to change that later on.
You cannot walk up the stairs in the lighthouse properly, you will have to jump at the end of each stair. Also the textures on the glass at the top look fucked up from the inside.
Obvious stuff you probably already know:
Zombies talking
You don't actually swim in water you kinda just walk in it
The "f to grab" tooltip still shows up when you get close to zombies
Energy depleted sounds when attempting to do suit actions (I understand they're supposed to be disabled)
Will post more when I get more time to play or would you like me to PM it or something instead? Anyways the mod seems great so far!
Please don't put a car near spawn.
I found some "bincolulars" in the form of a suitcase and when I press F on it, the map gets brighter and daytime

Fixed the sleepingbag (suitcase model temporary) It sets you to the next morning or to night. It should also be saving the game properly now.
No more dance dance revolution in downtown grissom
Grendel now has 10 + 1 round magazine
Civilian FY71 has 10 + 1 round magazine
Civilian FY71 also has a reduced ROF of 100
Jackal has now has a ROF of 80 and a magazine size of 5 + 1

How weapon spawns work
I won't go into specific details about placement, but essentially every 'point' that a weapon can spawn at is either:
Civilian
Handgun
Military
Police
Sniper
Civillian is the most common and will make up easily 80%-90% of firearms
It's comprised of:
Grendel
Jackal
Marshal
FY71 Civilian
They each randomly spawn, the Marshal and Grendel are quite common while the FY71 and Jackal are less common. I'll let people explore these values themselves.
Military is comprised of:
MK60
Classic SCAR all 4 varients
FY71 Military (Full auto with high ROF)
Crysis 2 SCAR in all varients (Dessert, CELL, and standard)
Handguns is comprised of:
Nova
Classic Nova
AY69
Hammer
Police is comprised of:
Feline
Frag and Smoke Grenades
K-VOLT
SCARAB
Snipers (Very, Very Rare) is comprised of:
Classic DSG1
DSG1

Having trouble with getting this installed. I created a Mods folder and dropped the Dead Matter folder in it but there is no Mods menu in the game menus.

in other news, all civilian weapons are semi-automatic!
Working on a system so that you can only fire while standing or crouching still, its unrealistic to run and shoot imo.
Before people get upset about civilian weapons getting nerfed, this game takes place in Canada where civilians cannot purchase fully automatic firearms with high capacity magazines.
can't you just make the recoil and spread massive instead?

Oh, sorry. Whenever I pick up planks for barricades, that doesn't work when I press up it just comes up with a message "You drank something" or "eaten something" and when I pick up a completely different food or drink, it doesn't appear in the inventory. Nor does anything disappear when I feel I've eaten/drank all of it. The HUD for the Eat/Drink is also bugged because the drink one disappears after a while and the eating one never fills up no matter how much I eat. I could just be doing the barricading wrong or.. Maybe that's not what they're used for?
