I've been wondering this too when I tried to play the trial a year ago. [editline]08:50PM[/editline] I find it stupid you need a credit card just to active a "free" trial account. Just so you can try out the trial.
exactly, and at the end, they charge you too. That's not free, unless you cancel it early. Bullshit if you ask me.
They charge you $1 and then refund it so people don't make spy accounts by not putting in a card when they made a free trial. It cost the allies 2 campaigns.
Pfft, allies are hoes, axis where it's at.
Ugh i wanna play this game soo bad. Anybody wanna lend me their account for just a day so i can try it?
Same :(
Pfft, allies are hoes, axis where it's at.
We are better than you axis bitches. Only reason you win is because you have neo-nazi bandwagoners.
We are better than you axis bitches. Reason why I'm considered, "The only fucker who knows how to strafe efficently" I can't dogfight for shit, but I'm very good at marking targets and then doing cannon shot on them. Especially small groups of infantry >:3
If i ever get this game, im going to german air force. I've been playing in Il2 for a long time, and i'm deadly in the bf109F4, so i cant wait to try it out.
Ive been dreaming to play this game for years. But I only have paypal. :sigh:

Fuck ya
Wish this game wasn't "pay per month :downs:" Most of the time they have it for three reasons. -Moneh, Moneh, Moneeeehhhh -DRM, also [sp]Moneh[/sp] -To keep out little kids [sp]Most of the time it's one of the above[/sp]
The Battleground Europe team isn't doing well. They are in the red. They can barely support the server costs at the moment.
Oh boy it's like ArmA 2 multiplayer except less exciting and you get to pay for it over and over and over again
I really want this game.
Oh boy it's like ArmA 2 multiplayer except less exciting and you get to pay for it over and over and over again
You are retarded. All battles are fucking intense. More intense than ARMA. Arma II isn't very exciting when it comes to combat because of its clunkyness.

The first video isn't possible in multiplayer because it would lag like shit. Also, no multiplayer servers are like that at all. An average battle for a town involves hundreds of people, explosions everywhere, gunfire everywhere. Very similar to the first video. There is no ambient noise in this game. It is all player generated. Also, the laggyness in the 2nd video is non-existent. That video is very old. Not to mention the graphics were improved and the engine upgraded. This is one of the more boring battles. You can't pass judgement on a game you never played, dumbass.
You can't pass judgement on a game you never played, dumbass.
so trailers are pointless and hype doesn't exist this is a five-minute-long game where you walk to a bench, sit down, walk away and die don't tell me it's a bad game because despite having watched gameplay videos of it and understanding the mechanisms of it you haven't played it, you know nothing about it and you managed to point out another pro to arma, it's got singleplayer, scenario editors AND multiplayer, keep giving me ammo
i've tried the game, and it is pure awesomness. If you arent a little bitch and dont care about the graphics, this is game is really intense. All the people work together to capture a city, and at any moment you can die. It's the only game where i truely got scared of dieing plus airdrop missions are soo fucking fun.
Actually I have played that game. It is not really a game because you just do some stuff for a few minutes. There really is no gameplay. And I'm not saying Arma is bad, I am saying that this game is more intense and a better choice if you actually want to fight. Every battle matters. You are actually fighting a war against your enemy. Its not just one map that you play on, its a map the size of 1/4 of Europe. In full scale. Every single battle is a large one. You must misunderstand trailers, because trailers are supposed to show off the game so you may want to buy it. It "looks" good. You can't arbitrarily say a game is shit or not because you saw a trailer. It is your opinion of the trailer. And since you have never played Battleground Europe, your opinion of the game does not matter because not only if you were to play the game, you would have a biased view on it, but since you have not experienced the game, you cannot formulate a valid opinion because you really haven't experienced anything from the game except a few videos. Fucking ninja.

There is a free trial, I am on this shit. [editline]10:21PM[/editline] Looks like a intense WWII version of Arma 2. Holy shit they have a whole damn campaign map.

City battles are always tough, because eventually it grinds down to street to street combat. One time,we were defending a big city, we would spawn, go across the street, and there would be dozens of us lined up taking cover in some debris. Across the street from our defensive line were the Germans. Literally the only thing that separated us from eachother was a street. That was some of the most intense combat I've seen in this game. Second only to a time when a bomber landed in a street and started using its turrets to shoot infantry.
We ran out of paras one day so we loaded up inf into a para plane landed it in the middle of the city and rolled out
I can't get the game running, each time I start it up it just goes to a black screen and my mouse gets stuck in the top left corner. [editline]10:58AM[/editline] Fixed it had to alt-tab a bit. [editline]11:11AM[/editline] Vehicles models all up in this bitch. How many are there?
Lots. 150+ vehicles.
I wish that you didn't need a credit card just to play the trial.
