That is a persistent fuckup I have had in every clear sky mod. Just roam around and kill renegades and eventually it will fix itself.

Call of Pripyat takes it much further. Not only are there lots of cool abandoned areas to explore (the first time searching the Yanov plant was so spooky), but the game rewards you for exploring with documents to sell, upgrade tools, and other stuff. Really neat, and adds to the "stalking" part of the game a lot. My current hierarchy of games is:
SoC>CoP>>>CS

That is very true, the game mechanics are unmatched in any of the other STALKERS. My problem is that the atmosphere isn't as serious as the last games, I mean come on Hawaiian as the Yanov trader and people that look like modern day presidents. Like I said before, modders will definitely make this game far more serious and fun at the same time.

Only the underground, but you can still play the game without going down there, you just cant beat the true ending of the game. Underground isn't as scary as it looks, take off the headphones and you can just run through it.
I love the few enemies that OL brought in, but LURK made a few parts of the game alot more intense
