Isn't SMP just a shitload of mods shoved together and edited to be compatible with each other?
From what I can see now it's sort of evolving into it's own mod.
Oh boy, we've devolved into cavepeople it would seem.
I'm in my mancave right now.
Isn't SMP just a shitload of mods shoved together and edited to be compatible with each other?
Basically a skyscraper held together by painter's tape. It's unstable to shit.
Isn't SMP just a shitload of mods shoved together and edited to be compatible with each other?
Actually it has alot of custom content, which isn't even in any other mods, female stalkers, HL2 buggy as a drivable car, Custom weapons in no other mod, SCAR, Barret, etc etc, its not just a Compilation, it started off as one, yets, but its evolving into so much more.
Female stalkers, a hl2 buggy? :raise: [sp] sounds stupid, doesnt really fit into the zone [/sp]
Pictures from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mod for Men of War Still in beta, and only multiplayer, but looks good so far.
NEver seen the SCAR or the Barret, nor the buggy.
Pictures from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mod for Men of War Still in beta, and only multiplayer, but looks good so far.
Doesnt look too stalkerish because of the interface.
I'm curious, Is stalker multiplayer moddable?
I'm curious, Is stalker multiplayer moddable?
I've been thinking about this too LURK-online would be awesome.
Someone has already said the Co-op/multiplayer with AI isn't possible.
Does anyone know how to get into Yantar in SoC? Also, can't wait for CoP to be released on Steam.
Female stalkers, a hl2 buggy? :raise: [sp] sounds stupid, doesnt really fit into the zone [/sp]
They are just a couple examples of the easter eggs in SMP, not to be taken seriously, I myself don't agree fully with parts of SMP, but its original, but im just a scripter for them, and model things now and then.
Does anyone know how to get into Yantar in SoC?
From Bar to Wild Territory, from Wild Territory to Yantar.
Someone has already said the Co-op/multiplayer with AI isn't possible.
I doubt that but if someone said its hard to the point where it can be considered impossible then I could understand.
Someone has already said the Co-op/multiplayer with AI isn't possible.
Has it ever been explained why? Most of the supermods on many games have reached their current state because they decidet to do something that was said to be impossible.
Its impossible because its not feasible nor possible to Synch Stalker's Alife on certain pc's, what with the online offline states, Info portions, smart terrains etc. All info would have to by Synched with each person, perfectly, and its just not possible, a Thread on GSC way back held this discussion, and people in touch with GSC Devs and quoting emails were pasted, should be in the archives somewhere.
I've been thinking about this too LURK-online would be awesome.
Yeah it's simple, I've been trying to go over the online weather, but as long as you're patched the same and have the same gamedata folders, then you can play with each other.
Do want cooperative based stalker game just like half life:decay :v:
I hope that GSC releases an SDK that we can all work with, like making new maps and such.
STALKER SoC: Anyone want to explain how to get that artifact in the Mill behind the Anomoly in Cordon?
Thanks, I tired a grenade and that didn't work. I'm just going around emptying stashes and such right now because the little icons bother me and I'm OCD.

Is it possible to merge LURKs weapon models with other mods? Because they're the best I've seen so far.
Also I dont understand why people are always saying it's unstable, it's no more unstable than any other mod, speaking of which I haven't heard anything from wolfe in awhile, hows 2.5 coming along anyway?
Actually, it gets very unstable in pripyat, to the point where, for me at least, it crashes upon reloading when you die. In other news, SC09 is doomed to never work for me. Reinstalled stalker and installed the mod and it still crashed I'm going back to ArsenalOL, SCREW YOU ALL AND YOUR BIG FANCY MODS.
Someone name me some good CS mods. I'm redownloading it just because I feel like it.
Actually, it gets very unstable in pripyat, to the point where, for me at least, it crashes upon reloading when you die. In other news, SC09 is doomed to never work for me. I can't even save without crashing, although everywhere else it's fine.
So is anyone looking forward to the "Lost Alpha Mod"?
Is it possible to merge LURKs weapon models with other mods?
