haha I AGREE i'd say for ANYONE it'd definitely have to be any point-and-click adventure game. it's all about humor and going places nobody else dares to in our now dung factory gaming market focused on madden NFL and shooting people.
Speaking of that, I bet nobody else knows where your avatar comes from. Sam & Max for the win.
l4d2 Its the same things, just diff skins and stuff, but I still like it.
Gore: Ultimate soldier aweful story, sound, voice acting and poorly balanced weapons. But it was worth it when you got to machine gun in half the game's most gay, whiney-voiced pink shirted villain named 'OptikNerv'
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1, it was started off so badly but I grew to love it, storyline was great despite it's awful presentation. Red Alert 3 is another one I really enjoyed, it's just so silly and I like it. Shoot me now.
and also barbie secret agent... DAMMIT!
Modern Warfare 2.
The Thunders II Alpha, Omega (Beta when part 3 is out ) they added a fully destructible nuke that could blow away the levels.. but in the end its just awesome to have that
Link? Googling those names links to this thread.
I also find myself in love with elf bowling.
Nostalgia'd. Also: L4D2. If it counts, I have always loved Tetris, but I want to hate it because it takes up so much of my time.
I really wanted to hate Two Worlds. It looked like one of the most mediocre games I had ever laid eyes on until I played the demo. Don't get me wrong, the game is bad, but for me it's just one of those things that are so bad they are hilariously funny.
Modern Warfare 2... I sitll think pc gamers got shafted, but god damn it's a fun game.
Fallout 3. I don't know why, but the game always looked dull to me and I never really wanted it. Then I got it for a birthday gift a few weeks after it came out and had to act surprised. I popped it in just to give it a try and really liked it.
Heroes of Newerth, I thought it would be shitty as fuck but I guess it's okay.
Viva Pinata, I went in to playing it sure I was going to hate it with a passion. I still play it today :|
None, because I only buy games I like the look of.
Rigs of Rods, That game is so damn gay! But I love it so...

Wii sports resort Although I don't love it that much
Nintendogs was surprisingly addictive
The Saints Row games. I was like "Man, come on, could this be any more of a blatant ripoff of GTA?" But actually playing it... It's pretty much as fun as a GTA game. Kind of like how all the Diablo clones work because they're imitating an already good game.
Assassin's Creed 2. At first, I was like; "So what, another colossal diarrhoea puddle by Ubisoft, I'm not touching it," And then I played it. Love at first sight.
saints row 2
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. I honestly didn't know what to expect when I started it, but I love it to bits. I don't know why, though. It may be the music, the Rare humor or something else, but I absolutely adore it. It's easy to find so much wrong with it, but I still feel giddy when playing it.
Gore: Ultimate soldier aweful story, sound, voice acting and poorly balanced weapons. Star Ocean. Yeah, its overdramatic and anime style, but I can't help but giggle when I see NPC teammates actually rape. Makes me feel all fuzzy for raising em
Battlefield 2 Hated it early on, but slowly it's become one of my favourite FPSs.
World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. Lucky i stopped playing it now.
another great GREAT game i enjoyed to death was Psychonauts. I figured it was going to be a terrible spinoff "try-too-hard-to-be-unique" of classic platformers but it was excellent as well, but i'm sure most of you already know about that. who remembers COMMANDER KEEN? or MONSTER BASH? euggh these games were so GOOD but i was so doubtful. i could go on all day.
good FPSs on Xbox.
...Can you used those words in the same sentence in that order? I didn't know that was possible.
Nintendogs.
Castlevania Symphony of the Night for PSX. I did not read up about the game and thought it would be a 3D game like the N64 so I didn't bother. Boy was I wrong!
