I would have to go with Demon's Souls. It annoys me when people make stupidly hard games just for the sake of being "hardcore". IWBTG I like though as it's more a parody of that kinda game. However, when I actually played it, it wasn't that bad, and definitely not as bad as Yahtzee made it sound. The instakills are given plenty of warning, especially if you're online, and it overall is just a fun game.
Garry's Mod 10 (it's true, I didn't like it at first because I was such a GM9 fool. Bought GM10 out of curiosity and loved it to shit)

Also, I would say Mass Effect, I didn't hate it, but it felt really boring to me so I stopped playing it.
And then I started again and actually listened to what the characters were saying, and now I love it.
I was on the Halo hatred bandwagon...

I thought it was just medal of honor remade but it was much... MUCH more addicting. Still think it should be called Camp of duty : Modern faggots.

I thought it was just guitar hero with a dj deck but actually found it [b] REALLY [/b] addicting.
Modern Warfare 2. Those guys take away Dedicated Servers and they LOVE money. But the mother fuckers make damn good games.
I so wanted to hate the Halo series, but I ended up finding it rather good.
