Sovereign is one of my favorite characters in any game. Not because he's such a badass. He ends up completely underestimating the mortal races and gets his ass kicked.
It's because he and his kind are an enigma. No generation of galactic species had encountered the Reapers and lived to tell the tale. For millions of years, maybe even billions, maybe since the Milky Way even formed, they have been reaping sentient life. Who created them? Where in the HELL did they come from?
Plus, he's got an amazing voice.
