Wii Sports.
But the whole game is centered around motion controll. Why would I play that game with the controller if I can go play Double Dash with some bros with the same controller?
online [editline]08:25PM[/editline] racing against computer guys sucks, or at least, i don't find it that fun
That's why you play with friends
When I first got mario kart wii I played it a lot with my mom. :v:
That's why you play with friends
you can't have 12 friends at once also split screen sucks also you can play with a friend online
Why would you prefer not playing with a friend in person? It's way more fun that way. And yes you can play with 12 different people.
Of course i like playing with people in person, whether it's split screen, or taking turns do you even have an argument besides i hate wii [editline]09:28PM[/editline] i'm not that big of a fan of split screen though, as i don't really have any big tvs, so it's hard to see what is going on
I never said I hate the Wii. I hate Mario Kart Wii. Dang yous stupid.
the only real complaint you've made is that it's on the wii, and you don't like the wiimote, which is fair enough, but you can use a gamecube controller, or the classic controller
It also lacks the dual driver feature from Double Dash, it just added Motorcycles. It just isn't as fun as Double Dash. I'm also not a fan of the new tracks [editline]09:55PM[/editline] And I'm not complaining that it's on the Wii. I'm complaining about their use of the Wiimote. Maybe Motion+ made it better.
oh okay, those are good reasons. I forgot that dual driver thing even existed. lol
Yeah. That's why I love Double Dash so. I wish they'd bring it back.
I personally recommend Punchout, as it has some of the classic charm of the original, with some pretty amusing and vivid visuals. It gets challenging as you go up, and can even be quite a work out if you use the mote+nun-chuck control scheme (although, if you want to win, stick with the game pad controls.)
Haven't read the thread so excuse the ones that have been mentioned Mario Galaxy - Best 3d Mario game since SM64, it's awesome New Super Mario Bros - Awesome fun, lots of good throwbacks. Mainly if you used to play Mario a lot when you were younger, because there are some great references to the old 2d games. Mario Kart - Only if you're into that kind of thing. Better than Double Dash but I prefer MKDS Twilight Princess - Goes without saying. Probably my favourite Zelda game, generally a good, long game. Madworld - Fucking funny, good fun. No More Heroes - I never ended up finishing this but it kept me entertained for a good long while. Metroid Prime 3 - Best console style FPS I've played. Good controls, and a good example of what a Metroid game should be. Guitar Heroes/Dj Hero/band hero/etc - If you like that kind of game, you'll enjoy them... Resident Evil 4 - Probably the best port, good controls and good game. Smash Bros. Brawl - If you liked the old ones, or enjoy fun fighting games. Best with friends. That's all I can think of at the moment, I'm looking through my collection but I've lent most of my games out so I can't even remember what else I had that was good.
Personally would get a ps3 slim if you already have a 360 and pass on the wii for now, ended up selling mine after desperatly looking for something that isn't a party game. Though for the sake of the thread I've heard good things about Mad World, No more heroes and uh, that resident evil on rail shooter thing. Umbrella Chronicles I think. Though don't get it for just no more heroes, doubt you would anyway but I think it's coming to the 360 as well with extra bonuses and such.
Rayman is fucking awesome
I despise how they trashed the series though, rabbids were a fun gimmick but lately they've gotten rid of raymans world and rayman altogether for them. Who here remembers the original Rayman with that crazy ass toon world where you had to climb hills made of bongos and fight a insane woman who shot lasers out of a rolling pin while using a washing machine as a shield?
Dude don't buy one, I found it fun the first week and haven't touched it since. PC ftw!
your a liar, you played it for a month. not a week. don't lie to us.
So i need to get 1 more remote and Nunchuk,ok. Can anyone tell me how the hell do you play Rockband on Wii? Also,if anyone can remember game for a Wii,where you are spider, and fighting against snakes and other creatures. It's something like deadly creatures or like that.Thought it was pretty good game.
Probably been answered, but is it
Skate it - Alot of fun, though the controls are kind of lacking unless you have the Wii motion plus Twilight Princess - 80 hours of pure awesome. SSBB - only play this for the online. Resident Evil 4 - Favorite game on the wii Wii Sports resort- I really only got this for the motion plus but the game itself is super awesome, i could play archery forever. On a side not Lets Tap! was also pretty fun, i wouldn't buy it though.
On a side not Lets Tap! was also pretty fun, i wouldn't buy it though.
Oh god When someone I knew bought their Wii it had this bundled with it. They were showing me what they got and I saw Lets Tap and I thought, "Oh yeah, one of those shitty games they can't sell so they chuck it in a bundle..." But it actually is fucking fun with a group of people
there are good games on the wii ?

Monster Hunter Super Mario Smash Brawl
NSMB Wii is one of the best so far, along side Brawl and SMG. I also enjoyed Metal Slug Anthology, although it's a very old game if you look at the Wii's launch date at 2006.
People here are nice. That being said, I would get Super Smash Bros. Brawl or Mario Kart Wii.
OK, I can now safely recommend No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. I got it today and did not stop playing until I beat it. It is fucking AMAZING.

[editline]08:58AM[/editline] By visuals I mean the town specifically

[editline]08:58AM[/editline] By visuals I mean the town specifically
You don't ride the bike at all anymore (except for one horrendously hard boss battle) and the open world map is replaced with a spiffy new area select screen. They really did a good job of cutting out all of the unnecessary bullshit from the first game. Plus, the game as a whole looks much nicer.
IMO the Wii has TONS of potential but, third party developers release shit. Most decent games on the Wii are made by Nintendo, but Mario gets old fast.
wario: smooth moves... you will love or hate it, i love it because its a semi-sequel to the warioware inc of the GBA, and i liked that game soo much. also it have great motion controls. the best i think (wihout motion plus)
Hammer. You apply a hammer to the Wii with force. hours of fun, depending on how hard you hit it.
