Anyone else get the "everyone else has left permanently" error, which forces you to leave?
Is that when someone leaves gman? Lego fixed that yesterday.
And to answer your question, it might use sims models, I don't know, but the engine nor game build has anything half leaning towards custom characters built into it at the moment.

Here's a good idea. Make the controls W.A.S.D, and make talk Y. Make is so that you don't have to face them to speak to them, and a chat box would be nice. Like the one in Garry's mod at the bottom left corner.

Pretty sure lego is working on that at the moment. The chat in this game is aweful.

Now works no matter where you have it installed.
It makes it much easier if you have it the the game folder itself, because you have to enter the directory each time UNLESS you have the selector in the games folder itself.
Not sure if it works on vista.
I've got a whole new respect for the torque engine after what I've been playing with in the editor, I'm going to have to look more into the procedurally generated terrain.
So what features hopefully will be in the map?

Well I'm releasing the map soon, but I've been thinking of creating a garrys mod esque system that lets you create objects and build things, which is why I'm testing the proceedurally generated terrain.
After a few tests I've concluded that the terrain does remember itself and stays as it is. For how long I'm not sure, so what I'm thinking of doing is create a village sim, just a small one at first to test the terrain, if one group of people wonder off in one direction, and the other one in the other. Build their towns, would the towns appear the same, including terrain, to each group if they swapped.

I'm sure the MIT student could if he wanted to. The point of the Restaurant was to do a study on human behaviors for AI.

Unfortunatly lego is the only person running servers, and he has them switched off when he leaves. Not that I'm unthankful.
